  1. Allow me to put in bold lettering the player I think that can have the biggest impact on the Buffalo Bills reaching the Superbowl. ; )
  2. For the catching and blocking ability of Najee Harris IMO. Process kind of guy. 3 down work horse. Brings a champion mentality that was very instrumental in Saban/ Alabama accomplishments. (Imediate impact on the pass and run game IMO)
  3. My main issue with a harder shelled exterior of a helmet vs softer exterior is that it offers no give on impact forcing the interior design of the helmet to counter the whiplash that could be reduced in the 1st place IMO. It would be interesting to see how a thick leathered exterior ( polished to reduce cohesion) with the existing interior desgn would test out IMO. Have a thinner hard plastic shell between interior and exterior.
  4. Talk about Mr dedicated to the Bills. You are looking at him right here.
  5. I agree, from a leadership and good character standpoint Harris fits the Bill as a process player for McD. I can also see TB loving the pick. Not a Buc fan by any means. With that being said Tampa and Najee Harris are a match made in football heaven IMO.
  6. Its an understandable position to take. So while I think power may help make up for the lack of barn burner speed. Without the strong emphasis on the run game and big bodied and talented oline bama/Saban implements your assesment is a reason for concern. Thanks, always much appreciated to hear your thoughts. Especially on what would be a 1st round draft selection Buffalo needs to have an imediate impact from on a team eyeing its 1st championship.
  7. True that, funny how all this comes to the surface when Watson decides he wants to be traded.
  8. Bad rep didn't stop A B from becoming a Pat or Buc
  9. Over the hill might be more appropriate for some of us oldtimers, hehe
  10. Turned down or postponed? Lol
  11. Its awesome. I've thought about getting something like it.
  12. Looking back I was my brothers guinea pig on many occasions. I've took a tumble in the dryer, slid down laundry shoot (lucky we had cloths at the bottom) floated in a little plastic boat and over a falls at a creek near our house. Pissed on the ground near an electric fence where electric current was going through it. Just to name a few. I must have been dedicated to staying alive through it all. Older brothers, geesh
  13. We have a Cowboy fan that frequents our forum that definitely deserves honorable mention for her dedication to the Buffalo Bills. She's been to many Bills games. Met and got pictures/autographs with many Bills players. Even offered to help my niece and her hubby anyway she could at the Houston playoff game the season before last. Her dedication to the Bills probably out does many of us. She's got me beat. You go girl! @CowgirlsFan
  14. Ouch Awesome dedication on the season tickets
  15. Back in the late 60's living in upstate New York ( West Valley ) My older brother and I would have contest sometimes to see who gets to keep our tv antenna on the roof turned in the right direction to pick up Bills games. In stormy weather the wind would turn the antenna enough to lose reception. Our contests were always filled with dares for the loser to make it more interesting and or painful. Once when our parents weren't home one of the dares was going outside in a snow storm wearing just our underwear with one lap around the house after turning the antenna. My brother got mad and locked me outside because the game wasn't coming in good. He figured it was my fault and I wasn't getting back in until the picture cleared. I ended up going to our neighbors up the street in just my underwear. We both got into allot of trouble.
  16. Well Newton did threaten to burn the house down with mom and dad in it. I'm just saying... Big brains go a little crazy sometimes
  17. Yards per carry average is the same. (6.0) Harris is a much more productive reciever. College 781 yards, 11 TD's Henry 285, 3 TD's Both beasts / punishing runners. I give the edge to Najee Harris over Henry as a great fit in the Bills high powered passing attack.
  18. I understand the skepticism on trading up for Najee Harris. My most respected poster on this board when it comes to football is against it.( @Rochesterfan ) The Buffalo Bills would have to make a big change in how they view the importance of having an above average run game IMO. Not much doubt in my mind had Buffalo committed themselves to running the football Singletary would have had a more productive season. If Buffalo drafts Harris running the football will have to be more then just an afterthought.
  19. It would also be wise to trade below 18th If possible and not pull the trigger on the trade until the last miniute IMO. Harris may go lower then Beane wants to go...
  20. Harris probably won't make it past the Dolphins and Steelers. As much as I want to see Harris in a Bills uni, I don't want to see Najee Harris in a Dophins uni. If Miami pulls off both Pitts and Harris it spells double the trouble for Buffalo IMO.
  21. Good for Sammy I wish him well until we play him...
  22. I think Harris makes up for it with power which also translates to good blocking/ pass protection IMO. Najee Harris also has good hands.
  23. Perhaps the smoke screen ( or not ) is meant to pull would be buyers out of the woodwork and to tip their hand.
