  1. Most of the starters had very little game play through the preseason. What are you suggesting? Allens regressing? Getting the O into the right plays to succeed including run plays is a big part of a QB's job. Buffalo won 35 - 0 and Josh Allen ran the O that accomplished it.
  2. Using reverse psychology on ones self is what Bills fans have learned to do over the years. ; )
  3. I know the feeling, but always seems better afterwards. Misery loves company...
  4. On the other side of the argument. From a herd immunity standpoint if you can get the numbers in attendance over say 80% vaccinated. Check temps on the people who are not vaccinated. Require masks. The chances of a large outbreak occuring would be very slim in my humble opinion.
  5. Thanks for that clarification
  6. We just had one of them studies featured here on TBD. The co author won't go to football games because of the dangers.
  7. I think its important for everyone to remember that If large outbreaks start occuring that gets traced back to the stadium. The only way to prevent this from happening again are no fans in the stadiums. If I can respect your feelings when you choose not to become vaccinated. How about respecting my feelings by not depriving me of something I want because of the freedom of choice you made. I keep hearing this argument well If your vaccinated why should you care. I'll tell you why I care. The masks, the social distancing, the business closures and all the other restrictions and damage the pandemic causes doesn't stop happening until we stop the spread. I'm not sure what the average number of kids under 12 would be at a game. I'm sure its in the thousands.
  8. Good observations IMO.
  9. Absolutely, thats because like the passing game, it takes actual game reps for the Oline and RB to get a feel for where the weaknesses are and exploit them IMO.
  10. and the best way to do that is good ball distribution to all play makers
  11. When people say get the ball to Knox more or have a better run game. Its not to say don't keep doing what we do best. Spreading the ball around helps open up all positions IMO. Do you think the answer might be somewhere in the middle?
  12. Nice example. Or the Houston Oiler run and shoot of the early 90's Maybe we have Marshall Faulk and don't use him? The Bills adapted a run off of the greatest show on turf and the slippery, slimmy beast of an O twisted Trent up like a pretzel...
  13. Myself personally, QB has bad games like a pitcher in baseball. When you have other parts of the O still clicking like a good run game it helps your signal caller out IMO. Weather conditions can also play a factor in the decision to run the ball more. Olines need a break from the defensive posture IMO and enjoy going on the offensive running the football. To me being able to run the football well is a no brainer here in Buffalo. We have the weapons in Singletary, Moss and Brieda...
  14. Almost every successful Offense in this league has a go to security blanket TE. Take a good look at the last Superbowl winners. Brady and Mahomes would be ringless without good TE play. Buffalo O lacks physicality and is getting man handled IMO.
  15. Teams figure you out in this league. Did you watch the last two games? There is no reason why Knox and Singletary should not be a bigger part of the game plan. None.
  16. Why is this Offense/Daboll so hell bent on getting the ball to the WR when the Bills WR's are getting shut down. I mean wouldn't common sense tell you to try something different when the TE and RB are an afterthought.
  17. I agree 100% with your last comment, from 1 davefan to another Thanks Shaw for a great review
  18. Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday SDS! Happy Birthday to you! 🍻🎂🏈🦬 ( Our cat did her roll over trick while I was singing )
  19. My avatar agrees with you Hope springs eternal...
  20. Having learned the hard way and having the distinction of being one of the 1st posters ever to be removed from PPP/TBD many years ago. I feel like the forum can be self moderated for the most part IMO. While one person may have given me the boot. The majority of the posters did not like my know it all attitude. I learned 3 valuable lessons that day. 1, You find the smartest posters posting in PPP. Discussing many topics they have extensive knowledge in and over your head. 2, I clearly don't know it all. 3, and most importantly, I'm an idiot. Its possible self moderation could work with a scoring system in place based on the amount If negatives on the emoticon select. Positives and negatives cancel out. Go say 10 deep to the negative the post gets removed. Poster does it 10 times the posts are not being received well and he is barred from PPP for 90 days. Getting along with people is one of the most important aspects of general discussion in PPP in my opinion. Always stay humble and kind. Just a thought...
  21. They may not like my recommendation because it is a thankless job IMO.( x10 in PPP) I'm not sure what happened while I was away. I like Beerball as a mod. Hes experienced and I think he gets along well with people IMO. Beerball also has a good intellect for PPP IMO.
  22. Gregory is thinking about the weather in Buffalo in the winter. Awww come on Maw, you'll get used to it...
  23. If by hardest you mean relative to wear and tear on the body and having to block men twice their size. RB's from a working standpoint have a very hard job IMO.
  24. 17 games now, Daboll/Allen willing, I think its very possible OP. Josh Allen may dump the ball off to Singletary more so I'm expecting to see his all purpose (catching and running) go up from last season. Singletary looks to good not to use and I'm confident our Bills OC has watched enough film of the preseason and seeing the same thing we are IMO. Good call Alpha, and If you asked me what our weakest link was on O at the end of last season. It was RB. I'm willing to eat lots of crow so you can be correct ; ) Amazing transformation from last season...
