Taylor can do what only one other QB in the NFL can do in my humble opinion which is run the football as well (If not better) then most RB's while equipped with an accurate, high velocity throwing arm. HC McD is well acquainted with the other QB/Cam
I wouldn't underestimate Tyrod Taylors potential in the right system...
I know none of these guys were drafted in the 1st, but its possible the Buffalo Bills may have already found a franchise QB in my humble opinion John,
...or maybe even two...
...now wouldn't that be something...
Good post/ reply
The problem I have with Taylor is leaving biggger plays on the football field when he does run or dump the ball off and its something that doesn't show up in stats. Taylor on the other hand hasn't had the normal amount of reps in the passing game and operated a run heavy O so I try to take that into consideration.
innovative coaching can go a long way in uniting the systems and its players and to me its one of the main ingredients in the recipe for success in the NFL IMO.
The league is constantly evolving with rule change/additions and new ways to attack and defend the opposition with a revolving door from player injury.
Get innovative or get beat...
good point Biscuit,
and you also wonder how much of the HC rubbed off onto the assistant.
Makes sense to me if someone wants to use the Watkins/Woods #1 and # 2 by way of example that their production be posted along with it. ( IMO )
Everyone just needs to keep in mind the Bills pass attempts per game average is the lowest in the league. ( under 30 )
3 and out stat /ranking sounds worse then what it is IMO
Its worse then getting one 1st down and out after the second set of downs, but clearly not a back breaking stat thats hard to overcome with good special teams in my humble opinion.
The Pats/Brady won a championship with higher 3 and out numbers so to me it helps prove the insignificants.
with all due respect
Does average D or below get you playoff results? (18th would be considered below league average)
I agree, the O does have much room for improvement.
( Patriots had more 3 and outs then Buffalo )
vs contributing and making the conversation sound a little more intelligent?
People from different walks of life frequent the boards and some more educated then others.
Everyone likes to chime in and talk football regardless and in my humble opinion they all have something to contribute.
