  1. Everyone seems to be on the same page within the organization from top to bottom. Good ownership, coaching, management and now franchise QB to go with a select group of high character players to support him. The future looks bright for the Buffalo Bills.
  2. The potential to become great is very high in my humble opinion.
  3. The game has changed, become more complex since the days of Kelly and Marino. Starting QB's in todays NFL have more responsibilities. Face more sophisticated and better disguised Defenses. While I wouldn't go as far as saying Jim Kelly couldn't excel in todays NFL because I actually think he would. If I have the choice of drafting similar athletes by way of skill set, one scores 15 on the wonderlic, the other 32, I'm taking the athlete with the better wonderlic score. Especially at the QB position. Myself personally, the wonderlic score doesn't gauge how well an athlete thinks under pressure. Jim Kelly was fearless. Dan Marino was fearless. Without that fearless mentality I'm not sure it matters how high you score on the wonderlic.
  4. I like this post. The size and skill set of Josh Allen allows the mental part of the game to become less impacted by the physical part of the game IMO. I really do think the sky is the limits for this kid. McD D combined with a QB like Allen puts a big smile on my face just thinking about it. No more Gronk MERCY!!!
  5. No reason to mock a teams interest, especially considering not many teams even had an interest. The fake news comment, now this, What a prick...
  6. Never had a problem with Gronk until the elbow to Tre White. Can't stand him now and have zero appreciation for anything Gronk related with the exception of his retirement from the NFL.
  7. Does A Rodgers normally take his team to the playoffs? Yes To be clear though theres a huge difference between a second year QB still developing who wasn't even projected to play last season vs a veteran franchise QB.
  8. Its not about making the playoffs as much as its about learning to beat the Patriots in my humble opinion. If we can't beat the Patriots its all for not...
  9. I get where your coming from because without good coaching/supporting cast its all for not. Generally speaking though good QB's do help carry their teams to the playoffs more often then not in my humble opinion. Not having a good QB clearly didn't go well for Buffalo despite fielding top 3 D's. When I say good meaning franchise, borderline franchise
  10. For crying out loud man, did you just call us big babies...
  11. I became a Bills fan watching # 32 running up and down the field at a very young age. Who was this fella that made my Dad and older brother yell so loud? Nobody could catch him. I watched him in the airport jumping over seats to reach his plane on time. Nobody could stop him. My childhood hero, O J Simpson... #Billsfanshavesufferedenough
  12. If you consider the circumstances the QB class had going into the NFL. HC and regime changes current or about to happen. The rookie class of QB's faced an uphill battle in terms of carrying their perspective franchises. Including Josh Allen who did one hell of a job trying in my humble opinion.
  13. The QB class for the most part was as good as advertised and then some IMO. A good shot in the arm for the NFL...
  14. The Buffalo Bills were said to be furious. Hahahahahaha
  15. This ^ ^ ^ ^ I wouldn't worry about it, we've been tortured far worse...
  16. True that, but lets not confuse where or how you obtain elite, or at the very least a WR with # 1 achieved status by way of production in the NFL with not having a legit # 1 on the roster John. AB was a later round draft choice...
  17. Elite talent sets the bar high and opens up the playing field for everyone around them. The Bills team that went to 4 straight superbowls was sprinkled with elite talent. The notion Buffalo would have been better off without Andre Reed simply isn't true. Or Troy Aikman without Michael Irvin. Montana without Rice. I'm not saying you can't win a championship without them, but elite talent helps at the WR position in my humble opinion.
  18. We already know the athleticism and arm strength is amazing, arguably the strongest arm the NFL has ever seen. Myself personally, what makes Allen extra special and the reason he is able to excel in not the greatest of conditions, especially for a rookie. Josh Allen is a very intelligent QB. Prepare to eat lots of crow. I mean that in a good way. ( with hot sauce and celery )
  19. Josh Allen already makes the Bills very hard to defend against the run, Bell would magnify it even more putting two elite athletes in the Bills backfield. The opposition is forced to think run 1st, unleashing Buffalo's biggest weapon, J A's cannon of an arm...
  20. Makes you wonder If AB hitting the fake news button sent the wrong kind of message.
  21. AB wanted to become the highest paid WR in the league. Something Brown has worked hard to achieve. If a trade was made and AB's demands for a new contract were not met AB made it perfectly clear you play by his rules/ demands or he's prepared to retire. Minimal interest had more to do with how costly AB would be from a salary standpoint then the trade itself IMO.
  22. The Bills team that went to 4 straight Superbowls was sprinkled with elite talent. Elite doesn't come cheaply. Something Mr Big checks just demonstrated. On his way to becoming the highest paid WR in the NFL. AB was so close to become a Bill, yet so far. Hate it when that happens...
  23. I don't buy the we would still be mediocre part, but I do applaud the McBeane regime for having the confidence to take on a player like AB in part because of the work they have done building up good character to this point in the Bills locker room.
