It has. But if you watch the video, he never mentions the Bills. Mentions fits with other teams, mentions Raiders don't make sense, never mentions the Bills. So I don't know how this is giving anyone an impression. Unless we're once again trying to read deeply into things that may or may not be there.

"He mentions every team but the Bills. This must mean the Bills are trading for him soon!"

Nodding yes on Buffalo soldier IMO.

Nah, I just realize that Hopkins has put up fantastic career numbers while having a big double team rate. Pairing him with Diggs would likely give him plenty of 1 on 1 matchups with Allen throwing to him being the cherry on top. It’s like a major LE storm. You see the potential days out and you know it’s going to absolutely crush. It’s literally the perfect storm, and I’m here for it.

I don't discriminate.  I'll treat all the same: like *****.

Where else would you rather be, then right here, right now!

The details are going to make a big difference. But the cap hit won't be cheap long-term and Hopkins has been banged up the past two seasons and is going to be 31. I fear that if they go with Hopkins and pass on drafting a WR up high a lot of the offensive production is going to rest on an older more banged-up player. Yes any player even a rookie or younger player can get hurt but you do have to play the percentages.

I think by the time you spread the ball around along with a good run game Hopkins can handle the load IMO.

Hopkins and Diggs on the field together also opens up other possibilities IMO.

I wouldnt expect us to get much back for Ed. Ed's a great 'Bill' but hes not a great player.

14.5 sacks in 4 years at a time when it seems alot of FO's are looking for QB pressure from their DL. It seems like he's looking for a lot too? His valuation is ~ $6-7Mil and I don't see a team giving up more than a 3-5 round pick for a guy they'd have to ultimately pony up a larger contract extension for.

Right after I commented and I saw this...lol. My exact thoughts

This guy tweets out good Bills related material daily. One of my favs... (@TheSportsBully1)

    What's "meaningful"?

I am clearly not a big Ed Oliver fan, but tweets like this are also annoying.   We can move Oliver.  Look at what some of these DT's are getting paid..

He's a young player, and he is talented - despite the very valid criticisms.  I am sure quite a few GM's were high on out of college.  It's a one year commitment and you get him in-house, with the ability to see how he fits on your Defense.

If he can throw even remotely, he would be an excellent backup for us.

Edit: you can disagree if you want to, that's fine. I'd like to know which other backup QB is out there that they can use in a similar way that they use Allen. If they had to use Keenum last year the entire offense would have had to change because Keenum can't run. Physically, Newton is what Allen is going to become if they keep using him the way they have been. No he can't throw well anymore, no backup you are signing will throw at an elite level. Newton can at least run.

    Newton > Barkley > K Allen

K Allen has won 2 of his last 16 starts

B B seemed to like having Cam with the Pats which suggests good locker room/ team chemistry. I think the Bills should allow Cam Newton to compete for Bills backup If interested. (Depending on how Cam looks now.)

I don’t necessarily disagree it was an ass kicking in all phases… but this debate started over the “it’s all coaching” statement.  To say that is flat out scapegoating.

You are holding coaches responsible for high first round draft picks getting physically manhandled in the run game against a backup OL.

That has nothing to do with coaching and it’s more about talent not executing all and getting their ass kicked.   Gap integrity is all on the players.  There was little against Cincinnati - that’s on the players.

Getting good traction became a bigger problem for Buffalo then it should have been IMO. Myself personally, I don't think the players were where they needed to be mentally to compete at a high level and thats ultimately on the coaches IMO.

Dallas WR room is quite similar to Buffalo’s.

    WR1 Lamb

    WR3 Gallup

They recognized they need a legit WR2, and trade for Cooks.

Let’s hope, with Dallas likely out of the OBJ running, we get a deal done soon.

I speculated 2/30 in another thread … it’s starting to looking like 10M per, maybe less, could get it done on a multi-year deal.

    My thought also

Not when he gets hurt by game 3, complains about Buffalo, or has his dad tweet out video of Allen missing him when he is open.

dude is a douche and only cares about his “brand.” He would be one of the last guys I’d want on my team.

The getting injured part is my biggest concern.

From a chemistry standpoint Von Miller gets it IMO. Its doubtful Miller is on board If he thought OBJ would cause problems IMO.

I'm ok with one big ego...

Didn’t really care for the TO signing because the team sucked and it was all PR bull#### by Russ… OBJ will actually make a difference on this Bills team.

Lol,this is true on bad timing.

Lets fix the Oline with a TO band aid...

I agree with OBJ actually making a difference.
