Should I not take this administration’s words at their value?

Foremost, I’m a Catholic. Globalism - free trade and free movement of people. Equality - people have universal rights that are given to them from above. Kirk didn’t believe this, as evidenced by his support for white supremacist Steven Sailer. I support a robust social welfare net. I support policies that are family friendly such as paid maternity leave, an enhanced child tax credit, and possibly a universal basic income although I’m still reading on this. I support free speech and the government cannot come after you for what you say. This does not include private companies. So, I am ok with sites like Twitter banning idiots, but not Bondi or Miller declaring everyone on the left to be “domestic terrorists” and demanding people snich on them. I support the right to gay marriage and the right to abortion. I support gun control measures like red flag laws and bans on people who have been convicted of crimes like DWI or domestic violence. That about sums it up.

Well in a few weeks, Stephen Miller is going to be sending paramilitary squads out to get people like me so I might as well mix another. You know, because “hate speech”

I see nothing wrong with encouraging people to get interested in civic participation. Hell, that’s just good citizenship. I guess the “failure,” if any, is figuring out a way to do it constructively. But my goodness, you’d think these colleges were hanging USSR flags and making students read Peter Kropotkin as a prerequisite. I went to a pretty “liberal” school and the most we did was a little bit of Hegel and Marx for my philosophy minor.

There is no reason whatsoever to lower flags for Kirk. I’m sorry, that’s reserved for military and elected officials. He was a podcaster who made “epic liberal owned” YouTube compilations and was beginning to dabble in white supremacy, something you still refuse to acknowledge. He was a meme more than five years ago because of his stupid “argument” style. He is a footnote in history. No one talks about Rush Limbaugh anymore and he was 10 times more influential than Kirk was. I’m deeply sorry for his family that he was killed. But the response to this has been absolutely insane.
