  1. Hope Repubs don’t take office or you can say goodbye to social security
  2. The Party of Losers will always a) be losing; b) be mad; c) be increasingly irrelevant
  3. A lot of boomers have disposable income. See the Trump Shoes
  4. ☝️ iron law of projection strikes again That is stupid, especially given some of the other folk that team employs
  5. No one’s saying he can’t believe it and say it. We’re saying it’s a stupid take and we have the right to mock it
  6. 💥 Yes, I’m wrong, and you are right, and there totally haven’t been a vast amount of interpretations surrounding the start of the revolution. Oh http://allthingsliberty.com/2013/08/historiography-of-american-revolution/
  7. Jesse Kelly stirring the old violent uprising angle again huh
  8. I do not interpret RGIII’s tweet as “women’s role is a wife and mother” but hey
  9. He’s welcome to say what he wants just as we are welcome to clown on his childish pathetic take
  10. Seriously. They should be hired on merit only. It’s disgusting that a non veteran would be considered less than a veteran /s
  11. Why are you using RGIII’s tweet like some kind of gotcha? I agree with his take. You mean the topic that one of the most important events in human history cannot be boiled down to a single act, but rather a host of different environmental, economic and political factors?
  12. A tipping point sure, but remember, the colonies wanted to keep expanding west and were forbidden from doing so by the british government via the Proclamation of 1763. Revolutionary attitudes were sown as early as the French and Indian War.
  13. Taxes were certainly one of them, but I’d argue it was a general desire for self-government instead of a king on the other side of the ocean.
  14. A desire for self-determination based on philosophy of individualism and liberty. Again, Hobbes and Locke.
  15. Taxes founded the United States? Not enlightenment thinking based on the writings of Hobbes and Locke?
  16. If that’s your niche, all power to you. Good for you. But no one should be boxed into a specific role as their “place”
  17. Progressive thinking founded the United States, my boy According to Butker she’s not reaching her true role
  18. Being more environmentally sustainable is bad! I fire up my coal-powered water heater every morning and only use soap made from veal fat
  19. You should take a logic 101 course. Might help.
  20. Now you DONT want me to ***** on domestic abusers? Damn, I knew the right wing loves to move goalposts but this is ridiculous! Also Josh Brown is a white guy
  21. Some women certainly may find joy in that. I would bet that most women don’t want to be told they will be happiest as a stay-at-home wife. Like Butker’s mom, a renowned physicist, for example.
  22. “NOOOO YOU CANT DISRESPECT DA FLAGG RAHHHHH” - guy with nine US flag punisher skulls and a “back the blue” flag on his lifted dodge hemi Believing women only reach their purpose in life in the kitchen is the opposite of progressive thinking
  23. Sure. Doesnt mean its not a shite opinion
