  1. Believe me, it’s not worth the effort to maintain multiple personalities on niche Internet forums
  2. Yup. Worked at a newspaper in college and that was unionized.
  3. Seemed a bit niche for this forum but I can certainly make one. Unions are mostly good, but there is a downside. They drive up construction costs by restricting who can do what labor and theyre very protectionist which drives up prices. Public unions for police should not exist as they tend to protect the bad apples and makes it harder to hold bad cops accountable.
  4. It’s very weird that you turned to deflection and ignored my original tweet. Don’t tell me you’re going down the SCBills/LeviF route too!
  5. Because Biden is an idiot protectionist too, more often than not. It’s politically popular and helps secure the union vote.
  6. Tariffs. They do not, will not, and never will benefit the American consumer. He should also repeal the Jones Act.
  7. Trump is not good for the economy, as intelligent people know. The rest briefly wipe the drool off their chins long enough to say “tariffs are good achtually”
  8. So you're just going all the way mask off huh? No one is taking away your culture. No one is coming to take my Schubert vinyl records or demolish the Coliseum or whatever. The only thing that's happening is people are becoming happier and prouder of their heritage.
  9. Your beliefs are extinct, your only destiny is a lonely grave in a forgotten cemetery on some back road. A sad and miserable experience to be sure.
  10. The Naturalization Act of 1790 allowed free white people to become citizens. Very liberal for the time. U.S. vs Wong Kim Ark gave us modern birthright citizenship. I assume you want to go back to 1790, Mr. Racist?
  11. The Founding Fathers had very liberal views on immigration, especially James Madison.
  12. “I don’t like brown people” is not a valid excuse. Foreign people are welcome to study here and have been since the founding of the country. They should be invited to stay and become permanent citizens and assets to communities. We are a global hub for learning. It helps build connections to other countries and extend our influence.
  13. Ok, let’s keep going. Why are we revoking legally obtained student visas?
  14. Why would we deport people here on legal visas, again?
  15. That’s not what the racist said, he said, sarcastically, “the spending power of college students is unmatched.” I proved him wrong. 411,000 and rising. https://www.applyboard.com/applyinsights-article/new-us-student-visa-totals-just-reached-a-6-year-high-heres-why
  16. College students spent nearly $600 billion in 2023. Want to keep going? Or do you want to keep tripling down on your racism? https://www.lexingtonlaw.com/blog/credit-cards/college-student-spending-habits.html/amp Your last statement is not really accurate. There might be a minute impact (2% or so) effect on wages in low-skill jobs, where there’s a lot of competition, but there’s little effect on high-end skilled jobs. https://www.cato.org/cato-journal/fall-2017/does-immigration-reduce-wages#:~:text=Literature on the U.S. labor,by 2 percent%2C on average.
  17. Students do things like “spend money” and “do research” for the country. I note you ignored the work visa thing.
  18. Removing people on work and student visas would obliterate the economy. It’s sad that your racism blinds you.
  19. And the vague threats of violence begin from the right wing. Sad!
  20. Hey look! It’s End Wokeness cherry picking stats to advance their bull#### agenda! And it’s Tommy right there to gobble it up! Do you think End Wokeness has true mental capacity to get that France has more than two parties? I sure don’t!!!
  21. Well I figured “population density” was a bit too complex
  22. I have said it before and I’ll say it again for you mouth breathing simpletons: LAND DOESN’T VOTE
