I've been super busy lately and not been able to follow closely. I kinda asked the same question before, but never really got a response. How is someone who is already VP, all of a sudden, become immensely popular and have polls showing that she is leading in battleground states? Like where was this energy in the Spring? ALSO, This article claims a different story and is actually more then just a tweet? https://www.wunc.org/2024-06-09/republican-white-voter-registrations-surge-in-nc

What did he do on J6?
-
Awful is probably too strong of a word, I'm coming from the standpoint of franchise mode.
-
Madden is awful. Madden 06 was a better game. Really though anything from 2004 and beyond on PS2 was prime. 08 I didn't play as much, it might be the definitive version.

Again though, who did they vote for?
-
So who did they vote for then in 2016 and 2020?

So where are all these "new" voters for Harris coming from that weren't voting for Biden? Is it people who were just going to sit it out if Biden was on the ticket? Like seriously, who are these "undecided" voters? My worldview is somewhat small granted, but I have never met someone who is a undecided for a presidential election. I will say local elections are a different story, but never a president. And what makes Harris that much more of a "better" option then Biden. I mean she is the current VP. She is already in charge (or at least the assistant coach in theory). Then again that brings up the question, who is currently calling the shots right now? My uneducated guess is it is Obama, from the standpoint its the simplest/easiest answer.

That golf video is great. Shows that Trump is just a normal dude (albeit very successful, rich, etc). Noticed just like I heard recently, when in meetings, etc Trump likes to ask questions, you can see that in this video too. Anyone who wants to talk crap about his golf game can just shut it. I don't care if he had unshown mulligans, I couldnt do what he did.

More of a "your opinion" question... With taking into account that the person in charge cannot play Monday morning QB while it is happening, Would inflation (and I guess the econ in general) more/less, do the same thing happen because of COVID and the world during that time? As in no matter who was president D or R (and not just necessarily Biden/Trump, any pres.) Question part 2 is, did Biden (or whatever is running the WH) save/fix the economy. If so, what did they do right. (Please don't take this like I'm grilling you, I certainly don't know the answer nor have I had the time or want to in studying it) Also from part 2, did Biden and team really do anything one way or another, or would the economy and everything kind of bounce back either way, again regardless of who is in charge, D or R.

I don't care about S&P (short term at least). I guess my 401k is happy? Maybe too broad of a question but if inflation is down, why are my groceries still really expensive?

Out of genuine curiosity, what makes it better today? Are you just comparing it to the first few months of covid and now? For us, Covid was great for our family. Our lives are better because of Covid. However, our lives from before Covid (Jan of 2020) and now is much "worse". I mean we have a great life and a lot of things are really going well for us. However, inflation has really hurt our abilities to save money like we were prior to it. We are still saving money (so again I cant complaining, we our very fortunate) however inflation has really hurt our ability to spend. Especially with not being able to save as much and the cost of vehicles going up. We will now have to wait probably 2 years to pay for our car in cash... (again very blessed to have this "problem", but it could be easier)

Agreed that's why they have amendments, but agree to disagree that they should amend against the E.C
-
Which is why they created the E.C 😉

It was two people who hyped up Donald Trump. 🤷♂️ I try not to read into projections (see below) I can care less about Dana White. I dont watch UFC. UFC is boring to me. Hulk Hogan was my favorite wrestler growing up, so I enjoyed seeing him. (I should add, he did everything I expected him to do, and thats ok, because it was for fun and hype, again I dont think HH will be Secretary of Defense)

I cant speak for someone else, but "mob" to me is majority/leading vote getter. Again, that's dangerous. And then all heck breaks out. For example, lets vote and see how much money billionaires should give to everyone. Let's vote to see if I am allowed to have a dog or a cat. Let's vote to see if all things in State "x" now belong to State "y". Sorry state "x" all of your resources now belong to state "y"
-
Again, cities and metropolises would have all the sway. What is good for cities isn't necessarily good for rural areas and vice versa. With the e.c, you actually have to win states. Yes its disappointing knowing that "you" state may not make a difference (and again my point about those counties) but I would rather have that then a majority. Exactly, its all fun and games until that mob turns against you.
-
I am just saying what CNN said. Obviously though Hogan and Dana were hype men. It's not like they are going to be cabinet members.
-
Because a general vote would mean that cities control everything and rural voters are toast.
-
Someone just said on CNN, that people are going to only see snippets and tweets of tonight's convention. And it will look "cool". Not to many will see the 1 hour rally speech. But gosh, I would have loved to see a 45 minute version of the speech and see what CNN would have said.
-
And that is the most frustrating thing about American politics. A few counties/states get to decide everything for the country. With that being said, I do support the e.c.
