Bills submit rule proposal change on interviews
letsgoteam replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with this. I have been thinking myself lately on how injured were the Bills WRs? McKenzie had an issue as well going into the playoffs as well. I doubt we will ever know unless they win a Super Bowl (it seems that teams give away a few more "secrets" of what was going on behind the scenes after winning one) or many years down the road, but I wonder what % the WRs truly were at during the playoffs. -
Re-sign or “wave good-bye” series: Player 8 - TJ Yeldon
letsgoteam replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with pretty much what everyone has stated, I for one though think he needed to get a better look/chances in games. By no means am I saying he should have been featured, but he should have gotten real reps at some point in the season. It was a weird, "good enough to be on the roster, bad enough to never play" type situation. The TJ Yeldon experience has been an interesting one. He might be a "jag" but I think he deserved a little bit more then that. -
Brandon Beane on Collinsworth’s podcast — worth a listen

I really, really wanted it to be Paul O'Neill. LOL I was spoiled,I had gotten really lucky the year or two before "calling my shot" prior to attending a Spring Training game that my goal that day was to get Don Zimmer's autograph. I was really fortunate he only signed three autos that day. -

One thing to think about is during the season if they accidentally say something that a player/team/etc takes offense to, it could derail the entire season. If something happens early in the off season, and something happens, they have a lot more time/ways to fix the mistake. Granted the stakes could smaller/bigger depending on was said/etc, but, hopefully my point makes "sense". 🥴 I will also include my C.C personal story. Dont know if yall will appreciate it, but here it goes During the CIncy MLB All Star Game in 2015, my best friend and I was in town for the entire All Star week. Well one night, we go to Tobi Keith's "I l love this bar" and an entire section is roped off and "VIP'd" My friend and I who were not drinking (maybe we had a "drink" but nothing to make us tipsy or drunk) saw the "VIP". We recognized him, but we couldn't think of who he was. My friend thought he was a broadcaster, but couldnt think of his name, and my phone was dead so we couldn't look it up. I was on a mission that week to get Paul O'Neill's autograph since he was playing the Celebrity Softball Game and would be in town. I was able to convince myself that the "VIP was most likely Paul O'Neill and here is my chance for his autograph (he was taking pictures with people). Were about to leave, so I go up to him and ask, "are you Paul O'Neill". He just looked at me and said, "nope." Feeling stupid, I just say "ok, my bad" and we leave. CC has a pretty good gig going, and as long as has been smart with his money, he should be doing pretty well, so I doubt he could careless when some schlub asked him, but I do like to wonder if my question registered any type of emotion from him. Perhaps he tells the story about some DA who thought he was P.O'N -
For sure!! I was thinking from the standpoint of other players in the NFL giving a Buffalo harder look (my post didnt clarify that ) , but you are right on!

I agree with that. I'm all for Watt signing with the Bills. Even if he, like you mentioned, has a Murphy type season, a player with that type of name caliber only helps in the marketing of the franchise. Not that a 13-3 team and what seems to be a franchise QB should need, but it still helps to remove the old stigmas surround the Bills. Also, he doesn't even have to be dominant all season. If he just has some clutch, "last ride" type moments that would be huge.

I dont know how much of an impact Watt will make any whatever team he goes to, nor do I know who he will sign with, but it is nice to be in the running instead of what it was like watching from the sidelines for over a decade.

Why is it so important to you that he watch the Super Bowl? Also, it seems that a lot of professionals do not watch the Super Bowl. Plus, I mean really, should he have locked himself in a room by himself to watch the game and take notes? Because if he said he "watched it" but was with a bigger group (a party) do you think he is really super focused on the game? If their is something important that must be watched from the Super Bowl, he'll have access to it. In a better format then watching the Super Bowl live. It would be in a package with highlights/plays from different angles, put together by a staffer on the Bills, that directly relates to something he may need to learn/know.

I'm still frustrated at the Bills for not calling him up to the 53 man roster against Miami in week17, what a waste. I don't understand why the Bills won't give Wade a chance... JK. I finally had to stop following several Bills facebook groups because people kept asking/wanting/thinking Wade to be elevated from the PS. Trolls on this message board have better takes then a lot of those FB groups unfortunately.

Maybe the injuries made him realize how everything could be over in a second. -
Ike Boettger - went undrafted

To be fair, I dont recall to many people thinking that Wyatt Teller being traded was bad at the time. I could be wrong though! -
I really like the current uniforms too, but I would like to see the 90s uniforms back maybe once a year or even every other year.

Interesting, thanks. I didnt realize where they were cap wise, etc.

He's going to go play with his brother in Pitt, right?

Not to worried about it, I dont think nepotism is the only thing holding me back form having a NFL job.

Bills Asst. LB coach leaving for Vandy
letsgoteam replied to UConn James's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually I was thinking its quite possible that the Bills may have politely told him that they weren't planning to retain him and to seek out new employment to save face.
