    Dont get me wrong, I dont think the playcalling is perfect. 🙂

    I'd have to watch the film/replay, if the DBs are playing off then its a good play to get your best player the ball. Either as a lil WR screen, or it could have simply just been a "now" play based on the coverage. Make teams also respect the short pass, setting up the long pass.

    On the other side of this, he may have wanted to explore his options and if noting turns up, he could end up back with the team. Having a veteran player on your practice squad and granting his release, goes a long ways for that agent (and his/her clients) and vet players in general.

    I dont know why I'm not seeing this more (maybe I'm missing them) It's second & goal (and what less then a yard). Why are they going shotgun? Instead Allen gets drilled on a run play (is that where he hurt his hand). JUST QB SNEAK. If he is stuffed, it's still at least on the one 🤬
