  1. It's hard to hold out and command top dollar when you're not a three down back James Cook is really good at what he does.. he is not anywhere close to insert Hall of Fame level talent running back here.. he has holes in his game and is a terrific two down back You can't pay a two down back 15 million a year... To make him happy I'd give him three for 30 I'd give him 22 guaranteed... But that's about it
  2. Yeah and we only have like four area scouts.. so they're not scouting one position.. they're going to three games a week scouting teams and their draft prospects Compiling the data to the national scout or the director who will then break it down further and make a board
  3. There's not one scout who does that LOL NFL teams don't employ 35 area scouts.. The Buffalo Bills have had 5-7 area scouts plus the National scout and director of college scouting and assistant plus some blesto guys and some others so probably around 12-14 people on the road at points and that's considered a pretty good size scouting group.. teams like Cincinnati have ran with 4-5 total people in their scouting department... Bills probably have realistically 15 to 20 We have a handful of area scouts.. a director of college scouting , assistant director of college scouting, a few blesto for underclassman and probably a national scout .. they used to release it they don't anymore NFL teams don't have 20 scouts for 20 positions
  4. Never left because my soul doesn't let me ... My brother's and cousins have all moved away to Boston or Los Angeles or San Diego or Tennessee But here I am ... Still have my family home on the east side of Buffalo even tho I reside in cheektovegas
  5. Future starting center I love a college tackle who isn't good enough to play outside and kick him inside to center He has some functional athleticism and he's a nasty guy
  6. Bazley never even stepped foot on campus as an Orangemen Lydon was on a sweet 16 and elite 18 if I recall correctly.. those teams were still really talented
  7. If you're mulling it over you're already done
  8. That's why we're so blessed to have Josh
  9. The notion that we have a bunch of choir boys without talent is asinine You don't get to our record The last 5 years.. our point differential The last 5 years.. our playoff wins The last 5 years.. while being devoid of talent We may put a high value on character.. it doesn't mean they like bad football players We might not have a top three talented roster.. we squarely been in the top 6 to 10 for a while..
  10. Thank you for everything you do slick Rick!
  11. So mail a letter to two Bills drive with money in it with the guys name lol nobody stopping you Bill fans are amazing.. but we don't need to give money to every single little thing that touches at a heart string If you want to go for it mail the guy money... But Us opening pocketbooks quickly doesn't make us better fans at the end of the day That guy getting recognized by Josh Allen was worth a million dollars in his heart
  12. Definitely has not picked an offensive or defensive lineman first round of every draft lol No first round offensive or defensive lineman last year 24 draft Not in the 21 draft Not in the 20 draft
  13. No offense, and Bills fandom really is special and we give a lot to good charities But, slick Rick isn't dying of cancer... He doesn't have a terminal disease.. why should he get hundreds of thousands in donations? And not the cafeteria lady? Not Pam at the front desk? Josh is a people person and makes everybody feel loved.. but donating to this guy but not to the cafeteria lady doesn't seem right even if he is salt of the earth I'm sure there's a lot of people around one Bills drive that are salt of the Earth
  14. I have literally combed through dozens and dozens and dozens of coaches and a hundred playoff games And whoever wrote those articles was 100% wrong Even Mike McCarthy has a stretch where he had five playoff losses with the Packers surrendering 186 points.. more than McDermott Now maybe people who write articles for the NFL should do better at their job so I don't have to And there's a bunch of coaches within a 10-15-point stretch of McDermott.. but when you're talking five games, a 10 or 12-point stretch over 5 games is 2ppg Nothing actually crazy
  15. Living in Buffalo my entire life and being on this website I can tell you you're completely wrong LOL I have plenty of friends and family and acquaintances that are not on this website.. and once the bill season is over they talk about who we can draft, who we can trade for, what moves we can do.. what the next year schedule looks like lol Bills fandom doesn't typically end in January and start back up in August lol to a lot of people in Buffalo it's something you're born into People in Buffalo talk bills with random strangers on the streets corners
  16. Did you just say we should draft murderers because our culture can handle them?
  17. He's also solidly built over 200 pounds He's a dynamite tracker of the ball as well.. if he was 6'1 -6'2 he would be a top 5 pick .. he still might go in the top 15-20 But like some smaller big time receivers like AB and Odell before the injuries .. he plays well above his size Missouri is a really good not great college.. and they used him like a school who just got their highest recruit ever.. just get him the ball typically quick and let the best athlete do his thing But his game has a lot more refinement than just that and he can do a lot more the next level.. type of receiver who will be a better pro than college guy because he actually has a route tree downfield and some juice
  18. He is a dynamic athlete with natural hands .. he has experience with rpos and bubble screens with great yards after catch He has a good vertical leap and can get deep too and plays with great pace If he matched his sophomore year stats he would go top 10 but he still is one of the best playmakers in the draft He also has a very good build
  19. I want to move up for Luther burden if he drops a little
  20. Andy Reid had perine running open on us lol That's the thing though.. they use the first round pick on him.. and he's been actively a part of their scheme all year... With a guy who draws up the best plays in the world Josh Allen threw the least amount of times in his full-time career since his second season.. mahomes had a hundred more passing attempts Equal that out and give him 13 more targets.. well that's 130 more yards We just don't throw the ball a lot If keon has 80 targets next year and catches 52 for 18.5 yards are reception and goes for 960 and 8-10 tds And that actually is realistic , that would be great for our offense
  21. Yes he didn't finish good.. not the first rookie won't be the last.. he also broke his wrist I'm not a big excuse guy for a professionals .. but for a guy who relies on being physical a broken wrist is tough for a receiver 9.6 yards per Target is impressive for a rookie or a 10- year vet... NOT Yards per catch, yards per Target.. so regardless of the catch rate he was getting 9.6 yards average a Target Him and Josh clean up their connection and you get higher catch percentage and the chance at a 10 yd target guy
  22. It's funny because before yesterday tons of people here would swear Andy Reid is the best coach In NFL history Now he's already could been passed by siriani soon If it's that quick to get passed... Maybe Andy Reid was never close to being the best coach in NFL history He's a Hall of Fame coach for sure.. I said yesterday before the game he's not Bill belichick.. and I stand by that
  23. James Cook just broke OJ Simpson's rushing touchdown record lol we have a really good offensive line Probably top five tackles at each spot.. Spencer Brown might become the best right tackle in the world in the next season or 2.. Literally drafted Matt Milano in the sixth round and turned them into an All-Pro.. Christian Benford in the sixth round became a good football player... Is Josh Allen clearly the best football player on our team? Yes Can you win 13 games consistently like we've been doing with one player? No lol Can you beat the Ravens in the playoffs with one player? No lol We've drafted guys like Dane Jackson in the 7th round and Levi Wallace undrafted and got these guys second contracts with other NFL teams.. we took castaway from the worst browns team in the NFL and Jordan poyer turned into an all pro ... This board was panicking when we lost Edmunds and Terrell Bernard stepped in and didn't miss a beat Our coaches are really good at developing talent.. maybe beane has been taking the wrong defensive lineman to develop
