The bills 2917 slogan will be ...
Brady bot wins his 678th Belicheck trophy. Hopefully he malfunctions by 2920
-
Might want to google Houston Texans depth chart among a few others
There are a lot of dominant fronts in the nfl.
We are closer to the top than the bottom of the league
-
Looking at all of our D lineman I can see why McDermott was the choice. Our strength is still in the D line and we have the perfect talent for his under/over scheme
We have the perfect 1 or 3 tech in Dareus. We have the perfect 3 tech in Kyle who is stout and savvy enough to play the 1 at a very high level as well. We Have the physically gifted future 3 tech in Washington. We have the 7 tech who can play 9 with Shaq Lawson. And we have Jerry Hughes who is the ideal 9 technique pass rusher
Yarbrough looks like he can play the 7 or 9 as well
With Worthy also able to play the 1 or pass rush as well in sub packages
We have a very great and versatile line

An unarguably positive culture change that the new guys have folded in.
They aren't building a roster, they're building an organization.
This isn't a new culture change...
The bills have done stuff like this for a long time
Community outreach!

Being a goody two shoes and working hard do not go together. Who is the current champ champ in the UFC and undefeated 49-0 boxer? Who is the best player on our team? Didn't he try to have a females only party a couple years ago?
I only throw all female parties...
Helps weed out the **** blockers
-
yeah man. hes this years "Lorax" type player. Dominate out of nowhere.
And he's only 23 or 24!
He can be a great depth end for years!
-
Also got Yahhhhbroo to play clean up duty
Kid looked fantastic!
That's our 3rd DE right there! Kid seems VERY coachable
-
Good stuff. I did enjoy the front 4 attacking against the Vikes
We still have a front 4 as dominate as anybody .
So glad we are gonna let Kyle , Dareus, Jerry and Shaq do what they do best. Get upfield and penetrate
-
Please ignore the names listed next to players. I realize Zach isn't here and Ragland isn't playing much.
These are two good pictures that show how McDermott lines his players up in the 43 over and under fronts.
The picture against the cardinals shows his 43 under front (notice the 1tech right off the center, and the 3tech on the outside shoulder of the guard) He also uses a 6 or 7 technique on the strong side and a 9 tech rusher on the weak side
Going to picture 2 against the Falcons and this shows McDermott in his over front. (SLB is key)
This time the D tackles switch responsibilities and again the weak side DT plays the 1 technique. The strong side tackle plays the 3 technique. But both Defenseive ends are lined up pretty much at the 9 technique ready to pass rush
Straight out of jimmy johnsons playbook and a good way to keep offensive lines off guard
Let's hope for some front 4 magic again

Barkley was NEVER GOING #1.Barkley would have been a number one pick if he didn't stay too long. Even Darnold runs that risk. Injuries are always a concern as well. I'm not saying that you're incorrect, I just think that it wouldn't be in his best interest to stay.
Pundits can say anything they want... their pundits
He got drafted right where he belonged... no nfl scout had a 1st round grade in Barkley. That was all combine talk.
No QB 6'2 or shorter has been drafted 1st overall in a long long time
Last was Vick I believe who is in a class of super athlete by himself
-
Nobody ever said Sammy didn't have a good work ethic. In fact being the nations #1 WR prospect in high school and then backing it with great play in college and then being a top 5 pick would almost show the opposite. He has a very good work ethic. #1 bench press out of WRs at the combine. Shows work ethic
And think Dareus has bad character because he smoked pot? Cmon man Dareus is a young man who has been immature but he is a gentle giant
The dancing panda
There are murderers in the league... that would be bad character
He is a good kid and we need him on our team. He is our last all pro
-
I don't think he will, but good question. Darnold would be stupid to stay in school if he meets expectations this season. I would hope he learned something from fellow USC QB Barkley. I like Luke Falk as well. Jackson is the bust of this draft. He'll either change position or end up like Tebow.
Darnold will stay. He is only a redshirt sophomore. Even luck stayed til redshirt jr year.
Barkley was a 6'1 noodle armed QB. Darnold is 6'4 and a legit nfl prospect, they are nothing alike and it won't hurt Darnold to go back 1 more year
-
We should try to swing him for a player like when we landed Hughes for Sheppard.
I could live with that
-
Everybody who hopped on the trade Ragland train is missing one thing...
If he really is that bad that we have to trade him, nobody is going to give us anything of value for him
Especially not a mid round pick
If he's shipped out it will be for a 6th or 7th and I'd rather just have the depth
-
Should easily make the sqaud as the 3rd or 4th end
-
Yes there is. But let me ask what part of Contact Football helps make a player better in his later years?
Technique and everything can be taught, learned and ingrained without one once of contact right?
Definitely. And the contact definitely adds up. By my sophomore year of college ball I was beat
I was undersized , concussed , and had 14+ years of wear and tear
-
I had two friends who went to the nfl. Both were offensive lineman.
The one kid started when he was 5. He was groomed to be a LT from day 1. His father was a LT at Maryland and a premier HS coach. He was the best lineman I ever played with. Perfect technique and student of the game
The other started when he was 12. He was super strong and an athletic freak. He played TE and D end. Blew out his knee and switched to Oline in college where he started at every position through 4 years
Both took different routes but both made it to the league. Some kids are groomed to be NFL players from day 1, while others will play 4 sports in 4 different seasons and do that through HS
I played 4 different HS sports so I definitely understand how cross training between sports makes one a better football player. If you are gifted enough to wait till your 15 to play football go for it.
But there will always be that kid who was groomed from birth

Not sure how you can defend the guy... every article he posts (I use posts, not writes, because all he does is steal quotes from other reporters articles) is total click bait. As someone else said, negative click bait generate some more clicks, so all his articles are negative.
That's what took me back the most last night.
Sure I could've acted differently but I think constant negativity caught up with me and mixed with alcohol I was angry!
Wasn't trying to cause and fights last night
-
He's still a running back bro
And gonna be pretty dang good probably... unless he's converted to WR and I wasn't aware?
-
Boggles the mind.
what don't you get???
He was drafted to play alongside Brown as inside linebackers in a 3/4 scheme. He's not suited to be in a 4/3. To think he would make Brown who has been at the very least solid and at times very good. Who's also better suited to be a 4/3 MLB. If you ask me you are dilusonal about Ragland and what he could be.
Now I've figured it out. Your just dilusional. You have an issue with Brown who has been the only solid LB we've had in years because you have a hard on for Ragland.
It shows
No I agree 100%If he is as talented as many make it out and he is playing with 3rd teams (guys bagging groceries in september) he better freaking Dominate.
If he is playing in the 3rd and 4th quarter with guys who will be out of the league he better dominate as you said
-
What was he supposed to write? The seocnd round pick for a defense he doesn't fit just got dmeoted to third string? How many third string LB's do you think they will keep? Especailly one that hasn't taken a single snap at any spot other than MLB.
I hope they can at least get a conditional draft pick for him, but it is more likely he is cut. If he looks bad tomorrow he will probably not make it to game 2.
However as many have pointed out, maybe the kid just needs to get out there and play. Maybe going full speed in a game situation will allow him to show some natural run stuffing abilities.
The LB unit along with RT will be the most watched positions Thursday.
All I'm saying is give the kid atleast the chance to play in the preseason game tomorrow before anybody says he's trash and should be traded
I think it's premature. He hasn't played at all...
He could be crappy, he could be average
He could be pretty dang good tomorrow too... let's watch and see first
-
So like.. who in the media do we like?
Sal, Tim, Sully blah blah blah. The guy is taking reps with the third team D.. why does he deserve praise? Because we don't like those who tell it like it is!!
Eh that's premature that he sucks.
Rodak could've waited till he sucked in the preseason game to say trade him
-
Well...
I didn't mean to start a tizzy
I could care less Who starts... it could be Vallejo or Milano. I just want them to ball. And I want our FO to consistently try to improve the roster
