  1. That Miss last game was so minute... That's a tracking issue at the NFL level .. and I really like Kincaid.. but the best can track the ball without losing speed It's one thing if you overthrow a guy by six yards... If it's within fingertips of the guy and he's running down the field he's not doing a good enough job tracking it Watch guys like DeSean Jackson track a football 60 yards in the air.. they can maintain 19 20 miles an hour while tracking it over their shoulder While other NFL guys the same ball they dipped down to 17 miles an hour to track it.. and that's the difference between a catch and a fingertip miss One thing if it's 5 yards overthrown.. when it's that close at the NFL level it's generally a tracking issue.. he needs to get better at tracking The best wide receivers or pass catchers when the ball goes in the air they have another gear And yes there is some hyperbole to this there is obviously a such thing as a bad pass but it's the small things at the highest level
  2. Oh so McDermott might actually know what he's doing I don't give a flying f that he started for the Chiefs that doesn't mean he's Sean McDermott caliber in the secondary
  3. I think Walter Jones and Ogden are squarely above Trent Williams Trent has been outstanding for a while.. but he doesn't have the consistency of those two Walter Jones allowed like 25 career sacks and has nine career holding penalties.. Trent has allowed 40 career sacks and has a lot more than nine holds You were also allowed to be physically more dominant back in the day on both sides... There's a reason why even in this passing era nobody is touching Bruce Smith's 200 sacks
  4. He certainly isn't slow and I never applied that I was just saying he's not a 4.39 guy like Gilmore He's definitely plenty fast enough, and he has a nice burst
  5. Yeah players grow and he completely outplays his testing numbers He's not the fastest or the quickest , but with his size strength and length he has enough physical tools to match up I thought it was a great pic out of Villanova I just didn't know what it's actual ceiling would be since he was FCS and you can't always tell Turns out it's high
  6. That's a lot more than coming back by 14 in the 4th quarter There was 4 minutes and 26 seconds left or something right? This team might be special PTR
  7. @PromoTheRobot Some of the latest game college comebacks I was able to find.. the biggest infoind Was Notre Dame and Joe Montana versus Houston 1979 Notre Dame was down 34 to 20 with 7 minutes left and went on to win 35-34 That's a 14 point come back in the last 7 minutes.. UB went 15 in 4 Michigan State versus northwestern is the largest come back in college football history... Down 38 to 3 in the 3rd.. they're down 14 with 8 minutes left UB still had a bigger deficit late in the game
  8. I actually like college football more than the NFL and this makes me sad They're becoming mercenaries in college
  9. It was on the local news last night It literally said first FBS team to win down by more than 14, so 15... With whatever amount of time was left when they started the run I know it sounded crazy and I tried to do some research myself and I really couldn't verify it but they definitely said it
  10. Think on this bulls fans UB is the first FBS football team in history to win a game down 15 with under 4 minutes left First team ever Heart of a champion congratulations bulls
  11. Yeah that's a low blow bro Nobody would rather be in the Gaza strip than Buffalo... Even the east side isn't that bad if you don't cause problems
  12. Chance is a small forward... Who can't shoot from the wing... Is dubbed as a point forward but he doesn't have good enough handles... This guy was not Syracuse caliber 15 years ago
  13. I've only done that twice and I've been here my entire life
  14. Horns up 🤘🤘 This team is gritty... I remember when leipold was running roughshod on the Mac... Yet couldn't get it done the title game because of tough gritty teams that never gave up This team is not the most talented in the Mac... It's certainly might have the most heart Which in a league where the talent margin is very slim I'll take the heart
  15. Honestly I respect the brutally honest answer Some people might say that's a talking point to make the other team play better.. but he's just calling it like he sees it
  16. Yeah that's definitely not happening Is Hamlin my favorite player? No He certainly is an NFL caliber player and not a complete liability
  17. Schools don't make players.. there's literally eight quarterbacks drafted every year The fact one school can consistently recruit high school kids and get them to the NFL level is remarkable Who would ever draft a Michigan quarterback because they've been good for 120 years.. yet Tom Brady Who would ever draft an Ohio State quarterback, they've been good for 120 years.. yet CJ Stroud and even Joe burrow was at Ohio State It's a player thing not a school thing
  18. I really don't watch too much of Brandt but he has great energy and he brings good attention to the bills It seems like a fun modern football show if you like that
  19. Football is not rigid it's very fluid... Today yes spags is certainly the better coordinator I agree with you 5 years ago I don't know anybody in the football community who thoughts spags was way better So yes I'll concede to you spags is better now but three five seven years ago Frazier was very respected.. in 2019-22 he certainly was considered a top defensive coordinator And has built a lot of game plans with a hurt defense missing a lot of pieces... Historically over 20 years that's why I say it's really too hard to tell.. right now I'll give it to you spags is better But Bobby Babbich is certainly an up-and-coming defensive guy and who knows where his learning from McDermott can take him... He certainly has a bright future
  20. What he has mastered is lowering his pad level through the hole That change in his technique has made him fall forward and hit defenders instead of being hit cuz he was too high over his pads
  21. Rough game But to be fair Colgate has gone to four straight NCAA tournaments At least they are the studs of the Patriot League But yes , Syracuse does not dominate in state opponents like they used to I think the box score agrees
  22. This game is wild
  23. Rapp is only 26... And safety is a position where players grow exponentially with experience He's younger than Hyde when he got here same age as poyer... Poyer and Hyde were able to grow and play off each other.. rapp hasn't have that steady safety to learn with Maybe it can be rapp and Bishop for the next 3 or 4 years... Rapp has made a lot of big tackles this year, stop hitting our own people... He has a physical presence... I actually see good amount of room to grow He Keeps getting all the first team reps and now he's more comfortable.. McDermott's secondary calls are so complex Bishop getting hurt at training camp really hurt... Especially because they don't hit live during the season much Those reps are vital If Bishop can use his athleticism and learn to play within the system , he has the physical traits to be able to play free safety... Then him and rapp would be a pretty physical Duo
  24. There is not and he won't be Even dick who is the best pure coordinator went in as a player
  25. I can agree with that I don't think spags is bad by any measure, I just said I don't consider him a guru ... And historically his and Frazier's defenses are statistically the same You are right that he is in the right place at the right time and he's definitely got the mojo .. and he's taking his years of experience and he's putting a good product out there I 100% agree I certainly respect your opinion and I will just say that spags will not be in the Hall of Fame He's not in the dick labeau category There are no defensive coordinators in the Hall of Fame either even dick went in as a player There are no purely coordinators in the hall and he's not going to be the first Other than that I do understand and respect your opinion and he certainly is good
