Sometimes the timing of the calls is as important as the calls themselves His timing was certainly off

People act like we play 90% zone 10% man lol We've been in the upper third of the league in third down man defense the last couple years.. McDermott loves cover one man on third down in passing situations We probably also finished the year playing around 40% man coverage all around towards the playoffs.. it's not like we sit in a soft Tampa two 85% of the game

I get that bro and he's a solid football player I just made my one statement that's it.. I wasn't taking anything away from your post which you put time into and he is a solid football player I did enjoy reading your post 👍 -
It's tough to reload off of back-to-back national championships College basketball isn't like college football where Alabama was in the final four 6-8 years Even Duke doesn't go to the elite 8- final 4 every year.. there's just a lot of turnover In basketball especially where freshmans and sophomores Go pro I'm sure they'll be a top 20 team again next year

No real results? He won back-to-back national championships

Absolutely but I don't think that really has any bearing on anything truly .. there are warm weather guys who played good in the cold and cold weather guys don't play good in it James Cook is a Florida boy who played in Georgia.. probably never saw snow before he came to Buffalo And he is a machine in a snow game.. some people naturally have the ability to play in weather and some don't It comes down to how good your feet are -

I just want to point out that Syracuse plays in a dome so.. Syracuse doesn't play in adverse weather at home Tho lot of ACC teams do -
I like a Sicilian style Dough fermented and proofed ... Sauce over cheese finished with pecorino Romano You can throw toppings like pepperoni or something on top of that but it's so good just by itself

NFL may push touchbacks up to the 35 yard line
Buffalo716 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah I just wasn't thinking for a second when I was interpreting the rule .. but there comes times in a season when you can't always just boot it the hell out of the end zone.. when the wind starts swirling at the Ralph one side is impossible to kick out of while the other side has balls going through the upright But as I said if I'm still on the five yard line.. you can still let it go over your head and get the ball to 20.. you return it might get tackled at the 11 Now if it's a high pooch to the 20 for sure -
The Switch between College to NFL gameplay

That was probably Syracuse Wake Forest The slow mesh option is actually the staple of Wake Forest system The running backs almost walk in the backfield at points -
NFL may push touchbacks up to the 35 yard line
Buffalo716 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well that's true ... But cant a kick land in the landing zone, and roll into the end zone and you still get it at the 20? So if I'm at the five.. I'll still probably let the ball roll into the end zone... If I'm at the 15 I would probably return -
Well of course it's not a power 4.. there is no more power 5 either BUT it is full-fledged division 1 FBS football... Even division one has two subdivisions And UB and the MAC are FBS , the highest classification of division 1 football It's not FCS, or division 2 or division 3 I would also say if you're an avid college football fan you would know that most bowls are irrelevant but it's an accolade... I don't think much of the Transperfect Music City Bowl that Iowa played in either but they're a big school lol
-
I really wish they would be able to leave the Ralph up.. even if they removed the upper bowl and just left the lower And still let the section 6 championship games get played there and they could have other local games too War memorial had games played on its field till like 2001 at least.. I mean so many kids in Buffalo grew up playing on war memorial field as the home of the bills I know they need the space for parking but it would be so cool because it's a landmark now in Western New York

Well that's the biggest thing for any NFL player The talent margin even from a seventh round pick to a first rounder isn't as big as some think in the NFL.. the margin is a lot smaller than the talent on the field when Alabama plays South Alabama lol A world class work ethic will reap plenty of rewards at the NFL level
-
Yeah but you forget that players can learn Gunner Hurts was well behind tua in terms of pre-snap identification and protections at Alabama.. certainly Oklahoma which has been good at developing quarterbacks for a long time helped him develop immensely And with his work ethic he has kept growing

Jeff Foster is in charge of the combine and the people invited and he has five employees ... Not many.. he's the president of National football scouting/NFL combine Jeff Foster worked in the NFL but he was not a scout .. and yeah they try to compile the best list for the combine but that doesn't mean it's perfect Again 50 straight AP all-americans have went .. so if you're the one out of the 50.. that's certainly is off https://www.draftcountdown.com/2025-nfl-draft/five-snubs-from-the-2025-nfl-scouting-combine/ Dolac is on a snubbed list Foster also talked about how.. if there's one position that gets drafted from someone who didn't get invited to the combine this year.. he said he thinks it will be a linebacker Huh... I wonder what linebacker he might be talking about
