  1. ugh....I mean...my 7 year old basically shamed me before the Lions game. He was all amped up on FRIDAY for the game, and I felt, dad needs to keep it real here, so I explained there were no miracles like last year possible. No playoffs. He said "Dad i don't care about playoffs, I just want to win". Yeah, that made me feel pretty lame, being like "why do you care". But even being ashamed a bit...I'd rather have the better draft position next year. I don't want to lose, but, whatever.
  2. Peace out big boy! go be lazy with stone hands somewhere else.
  3. Chris, you seriously started an account to post this? Take off that pink shirt, and hide your head in shame.
  4. There was other stuff on BB.com besides the BBMB? Huh. Learn something new every day.
  5. I applaud your Bond knowledge sir. Truly an apt comparison.
  6. I was gonna say no big deal, live and let live, but your buddy is possibly picking a new team based on the frontrunner with the best uniforms? Cut him out of your life.
  7. GoldenWheels: "Sunday? I'm ready to go rake leaves"
  8. I know NE would have likely done this anyway but I can't help but think of college where you finally suspend your star player, who's been a turd for a while, during a time in your schedule when it really doesn't matter.
  9. I find the Bills most fun somewhere after the draft and FA and before the actual season starts.
  10. Sooner or later, Ryan Tannehill is gonna be Ryan Tannehill again. Probably with a game on the line. OTOH, New England will probably also be New England again, sooner or later. So.....go Dolphins? Ewww. I wrretched a little just typing it.
  11. Without stink lines it can only ever be the #2 Bills tattoo ever.
  12. Hey just because announcers on TV said something doesn't mean it was right either!
  13. Was it the EXACT same one three times? Once I heard them say the WR covered up the TE but I must have missed the other explanations.
  14. the Croom fake was sweet but finding Ivory on the move, and throwing across his body on the run, was also very, very nice.
  15. I'm not. But you guys? Definitely.
  16. Agree 100%, it's all about Josh at this point. If he's the guy, all else can be fixed. If not...the search continues, interminably.
  17. Jeez and I thought Boldin's retirement was bad. HALFTIME????
  18. Because if you start with the simple things and can do them together, it gives you a base and it's easier to move onto slightly harder things? I'm not trying to be an ass to you but I think it's that simple. Give them a chance to get together and grow doing the A-B-Cs before D-E-F. My worry about the no huddle itself is very situationally specific as I said...if we're at the line early like Shaw wants, and running clock as I want I think they probably false start, twice. Or maybe don't hear the playcall/count from Josh at the line (we're at home, sure, should be ok.) But heck I think lining up as normal, and committing to running the ball, plays away from our weaknesses and into our lone proven offensive strength, Lesean.
  19. I think if they ran no huddle for an extended time, and the line is sitting there in formation as I would hope they would to eat time, it will be an issue for them penalty wise. Again my view is we'd need sit there, and roll clock, playing some ugly, time-consuming football to have any chance win. And if we do, I think they false start. You can disagree but it's not hard to follow. You apparently assume our line is simply bad physically but NOT bad/raw mentally, and I don't see why you do. Newer unit "gel-wise", not that talented, not that strong. I'd just call the damn plays in the huddle, go out, and freakin' run block. A-B-Cs, 1-2-3s, because it's all I think they can handle. I think that deflects some of our weakness (line) and plays to our strength (LeSean).
  20. Very re-assuring, considering how great all the other things things they practiced all summer have worked out. No reason to worry about 31 other flavors when you can't do vanilla right. Just play a normal game and RUN THE BALL.
  21. I agree but I trust him with the ball more than anyone else right now, and if they stack the box...then Josh's life should get easier. So like I said earlier, then they have to get to the line and sit there. How many false starts you think this line or this group of receivers will have if they have to line up for a ton of time each play? Was it our first game this year where our hard count got our OWN guy to jump? (legit Q, I think it was but I may be confusing it with another game)
  22. From an offensive line perspective, yes. From a RB perspective? Not really. Lesean is the best and most proven player on offense and is the type of back who can make things happen on his own. I also like our depth there, though there is a lot more to prove to be sure. So of a BUNCH of unknowns on O, Lesean, all by his lonesome, is still our best bet IMO. And even a moderately effective run game should help with the clock and keeping the D fresh. Frankly I think we have to keep these games ugly-close for a while, Dick Jauron style, to have any chance to win.
