  1. Giants seem too perfect a fit for me, I'd put money on that one. They have a new QB in his first year under Mike Shula. Mike Shula was Ron's QB coach (brought in BY Ron his first year), then his O coordinator, in Carolina. Was with him for 7 years. If they hire Rivera, he's already shown he can work with the GM in Carolina, and he can keep Shula as O coordinator and keep Daniel Jones on track. It's almost too perfect. Shurmur is already gone. He should just pack.
  2. Two things: I don't mind people, especially the press, sleeping on the team. But for the players' sake, I like that they are finally getting some recognition. Also, I like what the Bills were saying on the sideline: 'We're built different. We're built for this'.
  3. Man if this team really turns into something long term, Kyle is going to be well-remembered as a career Bill who helped set the tone for McD and the whole deal that playoff-drought breaking season. Kyle's initials are scratched in the concrete of the foundation.
  4. Ha! I thought the inverse was obvious but I getcha! I really must say, when Tony brought it up at halftime....I was like come on Romo, this ain't 4d chess. Maybe it was 5 Ds!
  5. HE'S A "LATE" SLIDER???????? THEY WARNED THEM???? WTF????? Oh and he can't beat you from the pocket Garrett? HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. Seemed to only apply to one QB on Thanksgiving.
  6. Shaq kinda bugs me....ONLY because I'd have like to see some of these sack dances a few years ago.....
  7. From Bart Scott: "The gamesmanship within the gamesmanship was early on, you talked about at half time, when McDermott took the time out and he showed a cover 0 blitz to see how they would respond to it. So now go back to the fourth down against Zeke, they anticipated the all out blitz but he knew how the Dallas Cowboys were gonna respond to it. What do they do? They drop back in a zone and Zeke, even if he catches the ball, has three defenders right there. So once again it goes to situational football, it goes back to coaching, which tells you that Jason Garrett is not a great football coach." I remember Romo making a point of the timeout before the half as well. I gotta admit I thought he was kind of overblowing it but...hey!
  8. I didn't know he also took his ball and went home! Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones couldn’t watch as the Buffalo Bills smothered his team during Thursday’s Thanksgiving game at AT&T stadium. Jones flew the coop with two minutes left on the clock after the Bills pulled out all the tricks, scoring touchdown after touchdown. https://www.foxbusiness.com/sports/cowboys-owner-jerry-jones-feathers-ruffled-leaves-game-after-bills-smothering-thanksgiving-football-nfl Gotta beat all the other helicopter traffic I guess!
  9. An oft-made comparison with Allen is the one made to quarterback Cam Newton. The Panthers quarterback is out this year, but the Broncos beat Newton in the Super Bowl during his MVP season. Harris was part of that team. But that comparison is rubbish, says Harris. The defensive back admitted he thought Newton was “real” while Allen is not. “No [he’s not similar to Newton]. (Allen) can run, though,” said Harris. “Other than that, he’s not really like Cam. They might do a quarterback draw-designed run, but Cam was for real. Cam is "for real": Josh for real: Sorry, simply could not resist. I see one real football player here, and one guy who likes fancy hats.
  10. I am pretty sick of the Qb favoritism. I understand as a running QB, you're not going to be protected as much as a pocket passer. That is just the way it is. You show scrambling ability regularly, the refs treat you a little differently, fine. But to not give us a roughing call on a totally late hit on the Qb a feet first slide....that was completely unacceptable, especially when the league is supposed to be caring about "player safety". Brady, or Brees, or or Mahomes, etc etc all get that call, EVERY TIME. Dak gets it I bet. Hell, one pinky on his jersey was enough to call back a pick!
  11. This video is also great. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000001081634/Jerry-Jones-puts-hands-over-face-after-Cowboys-failed-fourth-down Note the boys fan at about 16 seconds: "I could have thrown that ball"
  12. I can't NOT say the 4th down. My wife maybe wouldn't agree only because I may have lost my composure a bit and screamed "HE'S A SAVAGE" at the top of my lungs when he got the first.
  13. lets go bills take it to them like a big time team and own the second half America needs a nap put the boys away
  14. so yeah we should have another pick lets go O do this
  15. lets go bills happy thanksgiving lets go get it
  16. My sister is going to her inlaws, no other fam around....some friends invited us to a "mini" thanksgiving this evening...I said, "can I bring my grandma?", and since no one can say no to that, I don't have to do ANYTHING thanksgiving day. Think I may build a fire in the yard and chuck a ball around with the kids until game time....
  17. I can still see that decrepit old cryptkeeper's face in the booth when they beat us on that MNF field goal game. He's a goddamn football ghoul. Stick it to the boys. If we go in and beat them on Thanksgiving the way they are now...their whole franchise will be in tailspin, Garrett ain't clapping his way to an extension. Crapping in Jerrie's cranberry sauce would make me very THANKful.
  18. pretty good pretty pretty pretty good
  19. Nah, I'd still be embarrassed in a good natured way. Making the playoffs shouldn't be a big deal.
  20. After the Dolphins had whipped us for a decade straight or whatever it was, well that I could understand.
