  1. I really liked him coming out. Tough kid
  2. And maybe another if that first one caught on
  3. I remember that, tho it didn't happen. Mandela Effect?
  4. I would definately pick him up if cut. And only then. He will need a year, but RT is his natural position. Im not saavy enough to provide links, but read an article by Dawg Pound Daily...02/04/17.
  5. Salute to The Little Man. Or small person...or whatever they call themselves these days👍
  6. I agree. My point is there is no time to coach these days. Its what have you done for me lately?. And therefore drafting is a joke nowadays.Player development, etc. NFL players are the most disadvantaged players in sports in the coaching department IMO. The difference in scheme and technique/position is the biggest waste of talent of all the big 4 sports...hockey 2nd
  7. We zig, then we zag. Im all for walking the line in all three phases. Better question is, you say its coaches, not talent. I get that. But why in the world can't coaches teach TO talent? Meaning why if a "talent" cant/dont fit scheme, are they traded away or cut so soon? Instead of being "coached"?Shouldn't that be more of an indictment on the coach rather than the talent?#NotForLong Sad state of affairs.....
  8. They've signed players, they've released players, they've traded players. That don't seem like a pride issue at all. It seems more like they're just trying to build a roster. What exact moves have they made that are so erroneous that their pride has to be tested?
  9. What makes you say that they have too much pride?
  10. McD dont play...hope it works out in the long run
  11. Ok, I misspoke. What I meant was Kelly had complete autonomy at the LOS, which Manning later did. What made them both great, and not overrated, was their elite ability to read a defense and carve them up regularly. That alone, not accolades, makes them similar at least.imo
  12. Overrated? Yikes. What constitutes greatness then? Kelly was Peyton Manning long before Peyton Manning
  13. Sounds like a man on a mission. Worst case scenario IMO is he's a beast of a two down lb, and worth a second round pick. Im definately rooting for him
  14. yeah, i believe he was a teacher. Horrible situation for sure
  15. I guess he's lucky. I had a friend about 5 years ago that actually shot and killed a drunk who entered his( and his pregnant wife's) home. Apparently the guy had rented a place for the weekend a few doors down while in town for a wedding. After repeated attempts to encourage him to leave, and while on the phone with 911, the guy made a move towards the wife and was shot dead. Tragic on all sides. So yeah, he's lucky
  16. Condolences to Jim and the entire Kelly family. RIP
  17. I think Brown is what he is. Smart, capable, somewhat versatile, but his ceiling has been reached...along with his floor. As a complementary lb he's decent. But he never has been, nor will be a star at any position.Ideally for me, he should start at wlb like he did under Shwartz, and did fine. Not great, but fine. This is of course predicated on a fit at the Mike, which I just dont see on this roster yet. Unless Reggie steps up in a big way.And that dont seem likely just yet
  18. That's so gross. You're joking, I'm sure...? Never dismiss the Akashic records. That's real stuff!😉
  19. While I expect JWill to be very productive when given the chance, I dont expect him to see near the touches as Shady. Therefore, I dont see a "big" year stat wise. Probably looking at about 500 rushing, less than 200 receiving. But, I'd take that from him as a backup all day long! That said, I believe on offense O'Leary is poised for a good year. Im gonna guess 750+ yards to go along with 6 Td's. I think he will see the mismatches in the WCO due to coverage going towards Clay and the slot receivers. That should open Nick up for the 20 yd pickups between the lbers and Db's.On defense, I gotta fall back to Hughes. I think he's on a mission this year and should have another 10+sack year. Honorable mention to Hodges as I think he will eventually surpass Humber as the starting Will. I wanted to go Tre here, but I honestly think he'll be so solid(4 int's?) that he wont be picked on as much as typical rooks often are
  20. That's Not Quite Legit....
  21. Seymour was the highest rated rookie in completion percentage against last year. Is that not playing well? And it was by a considerable margine
  22. Seymour played slot last year and faired well IMO. I think it comes down to Seymour and Johnson with the best man starting outside and the runner up manning the slot
  23. In all fairness, they've relieved one HC and GM in their tenure. It was after two years, but cmon man...its not like THEY blow it up every two years (at this point)
