I'm guessing Seymour replaces NRC and we use a pick in round one or two to replace Gilmore

Cleveland Heavily After Tyrod Taylor.
BuffAlone replied to KevinMassare's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree, but is a second and a fourth too much for TT? I don't think it's unreasonable at all.He is a two year starting, back to back pro-bowl QB.....and argueably heading into his prime -

he Eagles got a first, and a fourth for Bradford. Is TT's value more than that? Again I say a second and a fourth would be fair, especially if someone was willing to pick up half his cap hit for this year -
Haason Reddick the Next Mack

there is a ton of talent in this draft. Given the names, combine results, and team needs, there will definitely be some first round talent well into the second round. But somebody will fall in love with his speed, and draft him early. If he's there for us in the second,he would be a great fit/cost. And I think that's very possible. I say that because although he's fast, very fast!, he wasn't asked to cover very often in school. He was a more natural pass rusher. And for that reason alone,he may be in play in the early stages of round two. As a coverage lb,I still think Cunningham is the more consistent talent...at this point -

a two year starting QB might be worth more than just a second round pick. I'm guessing a second and a fourth would do it. They get a two year starter, with 3 years left on his contract, while drafting "their" guy this year, and letting him sit and learn behind a consummate pro, albeit a somewhat limited one. We can take a stab at one of the other top qb's,while adding a couple picks. It's really just preference at this point. I'm a fan of TT,but I wouldn't be completely opposed to this scenario -

not a bad plan,if any of those are considered an upgrade. If all four are there at ten,who ya taking, and why? -
Lord knows we have enough of them lol

Ragland shouldn't play Will. Ideally,he would play Sam,and maybe even Mike. I think Wlb should be in play in round one,if we can trade down a bit. That'd give us Rookie,P Brown, and Ragland. Otherwise,if we keep Z Brown on the weakside, give me Rags in the middle, and pick up Jarrad Davis to play Sam.All of this is dependent on FA tho,so there is no wrong answer, just an opinion

Haason Reddick the Next Mack
BuffAlone replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That kid can fly! I'm surprised Cunningham ran a 4.68 I thought he'd be a little closer to Reddick's speed. Anyway, FWIW Mayock had his top four as Foster,Reddick,Cunningham, then Davis. I'd be happy with any of them. -
Haason Reddick the Next Mack

personally,I say yes. It'd be nice to trade down a few spots, maybe 5-6, and grab him there. -
Haason Reddick the Next Mack
BuffAlone replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't recall saying he can cover like Deion Jones. And I concede that Davis can't play in space like Reddick, but it's the rest of his game that I compare to Mack. The hard hitting. The shedding of blocks to make plays. The passion, and controlled anger he plays with. Lb is a huge need for McD and his defense. I'd be thrilled to land either, but the absolute best fit would be Zach Cunningham imo. -

I didn't say he was Mack, just more like him than Reddick.... and good second round value? You bet he his! -

I don't know if he's the next Mack, but he's a great talent. The guy I hope to land, and who plays more like Mack in my opinion, is Jarrad Davis. Please let him be there for us in the second!! This kid is a beast! Expected to run around a 4.7,but don't let that fool ya,he can FLY to the ball and cause chaos and destruction. ..my favorite traits in a LB -

need and need improved are two different things. If we sign Mills,it lessens the need.If we keep TT,it lessens the need.Same as for the rest of our FA's. I'm in agreement with you on all the positions you listed, but I just think that half of it will be addressed before the draft -
so,you're saying he will single handedly be responsible for at least two "L"'s this season? Very logical assumption

Reuben Foster Sent Home From Combine
BuffAlone replied to bilzfancy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So he's a young man who thinks he's entitled to anything&everything. ..sounds about par for today's youth. That don't diminish his skills tho,and shouldn't drop him out of a top 15 pick. I don't know why,but I always saw Ray Lewis in the same light. Confidence, or entitlement? Either way,he plays angry. A shot of attitude might go a long way on this roster, imo -

reports are that Mills is meeting with the Bills I believe it said saturday.Maybe not the best option,but...I also think that half of your list will be taken care of pre-draft.I'm guessing that either way,we'll be on the lookout for a Safety, corner, and either a Wr or Qb,depending on what Whaley can find in FA,and what we do with TT -

Very bizarre story. As for what to do with him it all depends.if we hang into Z Brown,I'd have him at the Wlb,Foster at Mlb,and Rags at Slb. Otherwise it's Foster at Wlb,P Brown at Mlb,and Rags at Slb. Of course all of them should be somewhat interchangeable, which would allow some disguised looks. By no means am I saying to play Rags at Weak, but you get the point.it'd be a nice question to have..... -
good to see a healthy dose of negativity carry over from previous lives.I've tried my best to read more than post on here, but I draw a line.your eyeballs mean nothing. And if,for some reason, your eyeballs prove better than any body with a job in the nfl,I'll be the first to recommend you for their spot. We haven't seen the Whaley machine in all its power yet.let's give it a chance.

He's the best of the class, unsure if it's worth a top ten, but a proven winner. Intangibles are thru the roof.younger, better passer than TT.Back to back championship mvp. One on the losing end.the kid Balls! And it scares the crap outta me that we may draft him at ten. Second round? SCORE! First round, not so much. Unless we trade down and pick up more picks -
