that's what I wondered.if we do sign Dimarco,and retain Mike G,that's three FA rb's on our roster,which is weird with a deep draft coming up. Maybe they just wanna save them picks to fix our defense. All in all,not a bad pickup for a mil.... you gotta do both,and do them well,if you wanna win in January and February at a million bucks? We coulda drafted or signed udfa for that

I agree.it'd be nice to trade down a bit and grab an extra third or so and get Zach Cunningham. Then grab best available CB,S,And WR with our extra pick. Chris Godwin would be nice in the third...

I seen the same thing. Just weird that they'd throw a million bucks for Tolbert,when the draft is good for rbs and we tendered Gillislee,and have J Will. I guess were stocked pretty good in the rb stable

We could draft a camp body way cheaper than thatJust makes me think they find value in him,and if so,we keep 5 rbs/fbs.But again,in a good class for rb's this year,why pay three in FA? I couldn't agree more. And yet there are an awful lot of "fans" that bash every decision the FO makes. I actually think things are getting alot better in that regard

I've seen Tolbert.maybe phenomenal was a reach. But seriously, he can bulldoze,but is better blocking on sweeps than up the gut type runs. And besides that,he's a three down guy,if need be.He can really do it all. Power,blocking,good hands,and a nice demeanor. I love that signing. I don't see the need for Dimarco,and I've not seen anything that officially says we've signed him yeah,I get that.But why would we do both? Guess I just don't see the grand scheme in that lol

According to Chris Brown ,Tolbert has signed. Nothing about Dimarco Also,Tolbert is more than his 33 rushing td's. He's caught 12 td passes,and is a phenomenal blocker. He's the whole package.In on every down. Whats the reason for signing Dimarco??

Tolbert is a beast.I lived in Charlotte for years.good,cheap pickup.he's got a few more years in him,can catch,and block.power runs occasionally, but mostly a blocking FB with good hands. Knows McD well.any numbers being thrown around??

yes he does. Whaley is hitting his stride imo. He's never had complete say,but he's gaining more power...earned,and growing. Give him two more drafts,and he will be an absolute asset and highly sought after.my opinion
