    Yes thats usually the norm. But at 29, his best option may be a 2 year deal with the hopes of landing another 2 year deal if he performs with said team. I dont see a huge market for a multi year deal for a 30 year old WR not named Jerry Rice in today's NFL. Food for thought

    I missed that info, thanks. But yes, it would still be tight. I think id rather give him a 2 year 10 mil contract( incentive laden) with about 6 garaunteed. That should do it.👍

    I think the biggest leverage is monies. Buffalo is 13 mil under the cap, while Baltimore is barely 2 mil under. That could definitely sway a signing. Something to consider. ..

    Actually, besides missing the whole season with an Acl, he's only missed like 10 games in 6 seasons. Thats not brittle like "Glass Goodwin"...

    Obviously not as physically talented as Clay, but O'Leary took a big step last year. He catches very well and improved his blocking. Hopefully it will continue. Barnidge or not, I expect us to add to the TE depth at some point in the near future because you're right, we need some help at that position

    Yes! If we somehow end up with a 1st next year AND Maclin out of this trade it will be a blessing. Not only do we get their 1st, but exponentially weaken their roster(thus making our 1st round pick assumingly higher) , that would be a job well done by first time HC/GM. Get it done OBD! Its on the Bills pageHe wasn't cut yet at that point, so recruiting didnt happen at the wedding

    Good size. Also, he had a ton of balls thrown his way opposite King with some decent numbers. 144 tackles in two years,couple picks, and decent amount of PBU's.If its an upgrade over Dowling, so be it
