I'm hoping Peterman really have a good camp
BuffAlone replied to Cherrybone's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That was my only point. I like Simien some too. A very solid backup with ability. Just not on TT's level...which we still have yet to know what exactly that is. Im hoping he takes that next step this year. -

I suppose you may be right. My point was basically that he was wanted by Elway. And would have been the starter. As it stood, he was forced to draft Lynch, who was not ready to start. If TT was on the Broncos roster, he would have won the starting job over Simien. Imho anyway. That belief leads me to the assumption that TT is a better QB than Simien. That is my opinion as well. A bottom line number that couldn't be breached. Elway tried, TT signs in Buffalo, forcing Elway to draft Lynch. Very likely scenario imo -

I just hope Beane isn't TOO player friendly when it comes to contracts and the like. I also hope that being well liked and personable can attract FA's that would normally pass on us. Either way, its out with the old and in with the new. Let's get this culture finally changed! -

You're a riot Ballstein! The fact is Elway tried his damnedest to get TT and had to settle on drafting Lynch. And Simien outplayed him to win the starting job. There is no other truth to be told about it -

umm...im pretty sure Elway would rather TT over Simien. He Did try to get him. Absolutely ridiculous to think Simien would earn the start over Tyrod. I dont care what stats say. Tyrod is better -

He'd be the best QB on Denver's roster too..maybe Houston as well -

The 6th. Whats your point? -
Cool story. I live in central PA now(born and raised near Buffalo) and driving home from work I passed a car with Bills stickers all over it. I pulled up alongside him, blew the horn to get his attention, and gave him a big number one sign as i pointed to my Bills hat. He threw me a thumbs up and smiled ear to ear. His tags were from Jersey as well. It was cool to relate to strangers in passing so far from home. Things like that happen to me alot as I wear my colors almost daily. Go Bills!

Arm strength is a concern for Peterman. If it can be improved upon with pro trainers, he may have a shot at being a starter eventually. He is very cerebral but I hope the speed of the game isn't too much for him. I think more likely he has a chance to be a capable, career backup. Cardale will be the odd man out this year. It will be TT, Yates, and Peterman. Pray to God we land our stud QB next year, in which case TT will probably be gone. Unless of course he has a monster year and then we will have quite a conundrum on our hands....Hopefully his play this year won't deter the staff either way from trying to find a longterm answer next year -
Dude...!@#$ college.you agree?
-
The reason I included Fournette is because of the hype. I understand your take, Zeke IS awesome. But not top 4 IMO. Not yet.I truely see him as a flash in the pan, behind that line. Do you suppose he's really top 4? On any team besides Dallas? I jyst aint seen it yet. Status comes with time. He hasn't accrued enough for me, personally
-
If you are gonna quote me, start by getting it right! I NEVER SAID"he's no Matt Forte"! What I mean is.. Ir was ONE year! Best line. Fortuitous. Lets see it again. He hasnt shown sustainable success. For that reason alone he's not top 4! And for the record, I watched most of his college carreer. He's awesome, no doubt. But until I see it again, he gets a top 10 nod from me, not top 4. But I digress to the professionals agreed. But do you honestly feel that Karlos couldn't have had numbers very close behind dallas' line? Is Zeke better than Carlos Hyde? Maybe..im not ready to say top 4 in the nfl just yet
-
To each their own. Karlos did more with less opportunity and a lesser line than Zeke did..is what i meant. Hell, Freddie Jackson could've put up those numbers with Dallas Oline
-
Yikes! You are a fan of this kid, sorry. Fact is, the ROOKIE had a good year behind probably the best O-line in the league. Does that make him a top 4 rb in this league? Not in my eyes. He's a head case ready to pop. Honestly...regardless of numbers, Karlos was more impressive as a runner and catcher from the backfield in his rookie year after seeing moves he made, defenders missed/ran over. My only true arguement is, he did it one year..best line...and good supporting cast. Thats not top 5 in my book. Maybe even not top 8! Ever hear of sophmore slump? We should debate this in 2 years. Im not saying he's not good, but c'mon man...the best? I wonder how he'd do behind a lesser line. Idt top 4..yet You're a Cowgirl fan, huh? P.S....i didnt say this season. You said he was top 4..gave me the dumb Hillary look. But to say he's better than 30 other proven starters in this league is not accurate or even debatable yet due to his mere 15 games. ..behind the best line in football. Gimme a break. Dont annoint him just yet!
-
Sorry...but I'd put Zeke at the very bottom of your list. Id also put several others ahead of him. AP, Marshawn, Lamar miller..to name a few. You gotta earn that status. After one year, he hasn'tBtw...!@#$ hillary👍 Martin, Ingram, Fournette...all better.imho anyway

Well...there IS that whole acquittal thingy. ...

I spent 20 years in Charlotte.Trust me...its the south. You can't find a more lethargic population. Dialect, movement, train of thought. ...its definately a southern state. And any local, born and raised, would put on the grey and fight you to the bitter end to prove their pride of their southern heritage!P.s...Tennessee is due west of NC, not south -
After a very productive rookie year he's the best rb in the league huh? I strongly disagree, but ok...👍
-
Maybe he's a secret weapon....( not to hijack the Adolphus thread 😉)
-
Didnt mean to format it weird..sorry bout that. Yes, he's not blazing fast. But i think his speed will be adequate, at least i sure hope so. Im ready to see what he's got.

Ragland had 7 pbu's in '15. He's adequate in zone.He dont have Keuchly's skill set, but I have faith in McD and Frazier to maximize his own skillset. The kid can do it all, and do it well. He can play
-
Well why the Ragland hate?

That's ecactly right. ..a Spikes clone, only younger and better. Worthy of watching.Worthy of hope. Worthy of a 2nd round pick
