I would move Buffalo to AFC North and Baltimore to AFC East. East is 4 teams on the Eastern coast. North are 4 teams all within a pretty tight Northern geography circle.

Amazing how the National Press Ignores the Bills
Bongo replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I get what people are saying about our schedule but here were the other 7 wins besides the Bills “barely” win in the Pats 8-0 start. Steelers Dolphins Jets Redskins Giants Jets Browns But they are the Pats and we are the Bills. They have been relevant and we haven’t in recent history. And they’re a big market team with Brady. -
Wow, you are one condescending, snarky SOB. You don’t even know me so I’m not sure why you are jumping all over me with the attitude. Just because we disagree? How do you know who I have pounded the table for? Ooo you don’t. Did the Pats go horizontal by choice or because personnel dictated? Because the deep threat was unavailable? The Pats will adapt to the talent they have. They have Moss, they go deep. They have Welker or Edelman, they go quick horizontal with pick plays. They have both they do both. They bailed on his talent. Because they thought he’d be available and help them out? But obviously we are going to just disagree so I’ll let you Oooo at somebody else now because you have me all figured out. After watching this team struggle for so long, I’m hoping they don’t add good players. Got me.

Because I believe it is a big deal. You have to invest in him. And I’m not talking about the money. We’ve got plenty of room for that. On an offense that needs all the work and coaching it can get, you have to teach him the offense. Get him timing with Josh, etc... All at the expense of that coaching and throwing time with others. If you think he’s around for a while, worth it. If you think he’s a tourist passing through, not worth it. I think he’s a tourist. If he wasn’t, I don’t think the Pats let him go because they could have used him.
-
Fair enough. Your sarcasm aside, I think he will just be a distraction. If not, I don’t see any way the Pats don’t keep him for Brady. But if we get him, I’ll be very happy to be wrong and will root for him. Like I said, love his talent. And I have definitely been rooting for the Bills long enough to know the 90’s Bills. I didn’t hate them then and wouldn’t hate him now. He has just progressed so far in the league’s substance abuse program that he has no wiggle room.

I think his issues go beyond culture. And one strike and he’s gone. I feel bad for the guy and would love to have his talent on the team. I just don’t think he can control himself. I get the feeling there is a lot of culture on the Pats and they ultimately had to give up trying.

I would not do it. Great talent but personal issues make him too unreliable. If not, Pats would have kept him.

Ed O A Pipe Dream or a Dream Team Position Change ?
Bongo replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t think he needs to move. I think he’ll end up doing well at his position. That said, it is not the worst idea from a physical standpoint. Most people think of ends as taller and more angular. But Robert Mathis played at 6’2”, 245 lbs. Ed is quick and strong. He could be a bigger version. The questions are 1) does his quickness hold up for the increased distance to get around quicker and longer tackles vs. the “phone booth” of guards and 2) how long would it take for him to adjust and learn the position/techniques. -
This week too. On one play Goedert grabbed him, spun him around and threw him to the ground. No flag. On one of the touchdowns you can clearly see him with the lineman’s arms around him with a fist full of jersey. No flag.

What did YOU Do That Made The Bills Win Today?
Bongo replied to Nanker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Apparently cursing a lot at the tv now has a positive effect. -
I know. Just stirring the pot. It’s just, as you say, dumb. It is supposed to be an award for PLAYER of the week, not DEFENSE of the week. And the Chiefs o-line is considered the weakest part of their prolific offense. So giving an award to an individual player who had one sack against a so-so line vs. Jordan’s 3 sacks in one half just because his team did so well in prime time is, again, dumb. But I’m not really surprised by it since we’re the Bills.

Deangelo Hall says Tre has been a top 3 corner...
Bongo replied to Stank_Nasty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But none of his games were prime time against his former team so this can’t be valid. His playing doesn’t count. At least that’s what I’m told. ? -
My Titan fan co-worker said that it felt like it was 70-80% Bills fans. He also commented on how loud we were. ?
-
Was at the game yesterday and ran into a co-worker who is a Titan’s fan. Saw him this morning and he said the number of Bills fans was crazy. Felt like he was at a Bills home game. Said that in his section he was completely surrounded by Bills fans. He wasn’t impressed by the Titans support given that it was a big game for them.

True but Murphy was being held right behind it so offsetting anyways.

Heading out to Nashville. Go Bills!!! -
It’s ok. It’s a win-win situation. Either he has to begrudgingly give props to our D which he doesn’t OR he has to admit he sucked donkey balls and couldn’t generate more offense than Josh did with multiple turn overs.

Have You Started To Lose Faith in Josh Allen?
Bongo replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because I think he’s young and still learning. Was it frustrating when he would look for the hero pass downfield vs. taking the short play? Yes. Has he also led us back for wins? Yes. The talent is there. The leadership is there. It’s too early, in my opinion, to give up on him. I still think he’ll be the answer and one loss to a great defense after he has been knocked out of it by a bull#### hit before he could potentially complete yet another comeback doesn’t change my mind. I think that is way too emotionally kneejerk. -
Why’s Allen not getting peterman like treatment?
