Back injuries are hard to ever fully recover from. Here's hoping his best years are behind him. Definitely a hall of famer though.
I wish he played for any other team, he's from Buffalo so it would have been a nice story. Ironic that he ends up there.

The possibility of playoffs affecting draft position is a good problem to have. I think it's early for that, but still a good problem.
However, this team needs to take a QB high next year regardless of how well we finish.
I'm completely against that strategy. Taking a QB just to take one regardless of who's on the board is not worth it. If they really feel a QB can be a consistent top 10 passer they should do what they can to get him but if it doesn't work out there's no need to panic. I'm all for taking a QB every year at this point, just not necessarily high in the 1st round.

It is far more likely that Tyrod Taylor is our franchise QB than any generic 1st round QB from the last 10 years. Once you get past pick #2 finding even a starting level QB becomes an extremely low probability. And it's only 50/50 for #1 overall.

Man, whats with all the love for the Dolphins. Also, the "experts" are so afraid to pick against the Pats* it is ridiculous. On paper, tonight's game looks like a lock for Tampa to me. (of course they don't play the game on paper)
My brain wants me to watch the Sabres tonight but my heart wants me to watch the Pats game and that's probably what I'll end up doing.

I remember when passer ratings over 100 were considered godly. They're still pretty damn impressive.
And then there are those "jaw-dropping throws" which are often throws out of jaw-dropping scrambles. He does some things few other QBs can do.
I like TT's performance thus far.
However, I think a valid question remains unanswered. If the defense has a bad day and Dennison running attack can't get untracked again, will Tyrod pass us to victory? There's no need for TT to throw for 300 yards every week. But can he throw for 300 if we need him to?
(I'm not knocking Tyrod, only asking).
I don't think there are more than 3 QBs in the league that I would trust with this offense if the defense and running game weren't working. We probably have the worst receiving weapons in the league. The fact he's moving our offense at all with the absence of a running game is amazing. I'm under no illusions that we would have the record we have now if our defense was worse than it is, but that's probably true no matter who the QB is outside of like Brady and Brees.

Who's flipping out? Cam is an idiot. He does something stupid like this pretty much every season. It doesn't excuse it every time he does. Dumb controversy but the outrage about the outrage is just as dumb. No one's burning their Panthers season tickets over this
