Meh. Ravens are 0-1 against them, and they held the Chiefs to 17 points in that one loss it was just their offense couldn't get anything going. Bengals are 1-1. We're 0-4 while averaging 28.25 PPG. So I wouldn't classify it as just "an AFC problem." Beyond the annual wildcard participants, we're the primary reason the Chiefs dynasty exists and that's despite our offense performing quite well over the course of those games.

They've actually had good info before, including with injuries, I've followed them for a while. Not sure what happened this time around. Very happy their source was wrong of course. That will be the last time I post their info on this forum though because I can no longer trust them.

Huge huge sigh of relief. Tre White was well on his way to winning the competition anyways so this injury doesn't affect our season at all. My concern with it was that I think it's likely our 3rd CB will have to play meaningful snaps this year and I'd much rather Hairston's upside be available for that role vs someone like Dane Jackson. Now we know Hairston will be back in plenty of time to take on that role and can use his time off to study the mental game, plus his long term career won't be affected. Impossible to overstate how good this news is.

Yeah I was about to post this too, a couple people on Twitter screenshotted Hairston's reply before he deleted it. So hopefully good news. At this point I'm driving myself crazy riding the roller coaster, just have to wait for official confirmation.

There's a wide gulf between "draft a WR first every year" and "invest more than literally the lowest amount of draft resources out of all 32 teams." Most of us fall somewhere near that second statement.

So we're just making stuff up now? What actually happened is a trainer did the ACL stability test on him, then after running it he extended his hand to help Hairston up and walk slowly off the field. If the stability test failed I doubt that would have been the trainer's response. Either way it's getting close to calling the competition for Tre. I don't see how Hairston can steal the job at this point given his struggles and now this injury, and with Tre looking pretty good in camp.

Yeah that was really weird. Brasky has been the best best reporter for live training camp updates so I hope it doesn't cost him his job.
