Chargers winning (if they finish this drive)
Aaaaand they found a way to lose. This is the most classic Chargers ending ever.

Right.
Again, I think you place a WHOLE lot of value in your draft board, and are quite unwilling to second-guess it. You're not alone in that regard.
We were losing in the first half because the defense couldn't manage against the inside run by Miami, couldn't get to Fitz and couldn't stop a cold.
Metcalf just fumbled the ball which the Ravens returned for a TD. Just saying. It is silly, especially at this point, to say drafting Oliver over him was a mistake.

This late window not going well for us. Ravens and Chargers winning is not a good thing.
Ravens winning changes nothing. Ideally they just run away with that division. Chargers winning (if they finish this drive) hurts a little but we still have a 2 game lead over them. They still have the Chiefs twice, Packers, and Vikings. If they lose those 4 games they will be 8-8 at best.

Jackson looks so much better than Allen.
It's the 4th quarter and he's 7/17 for 116 yards with 0 TDs. Are you sure about this? Because he hit one deep pass?

I find it difficult to grade a QB with a letter, but I will say I only remember 3 bad plays. The two missed deep balls to Brown and Roberts, and the play at the end of the 1st half where he ran around for a while instead of just hitting his hot route. Am I forgetting anything? The offense as a whole is missing players you can depend on. Brown is as close as that gets but he's not a true #1.

Not if they want to win the division and actually try to do something in the playoffs.
I'm not expecting us to beat out the greatest dynasty in NFL history in year 2 of the rebuild. This year my goal is make it in and at least look competitive in the wildcard game. Anything beyond that is gravy. Next year the expectation goes up.

We need to beat the Eagles.
Not true. The Eagles and the Cowboys are the least important games remaining on our schedule. We can afford to lose 5 games the rest of the year.

I don't see how the Bills can miss out on a wildcard spot at this point, and don't worry I knocked on wood. One of the Colts or Texans will end up with a wildcard spot, outside of them every potential AFC wildcard is at least 2 games behind us. The Raiders losing today was huge.

Tre White
Stephen Hauschka
That's it for me today

Hyde should have knelt at the 5.
My fantasy team with the Bills defense begs to differ

I thought we drafted one.
He may develop into one but I meant an edge rusher.

We are missing a stud pass rusher. This defense will not take the next step until we find that piece.

What's better? A team that can dominate, or a team that finds a way to win.
The team that dominates also finds a way to win, just saying. I'm happy with the win but there are some real concerns coming out of this game.

Jeez Dolphins receivers are catching everything today. Thank God for that hold.

Not sure what the 1st half was all about.
Maybe it's just me but our offense looked weird as hell. Looked like Daboll outsmarted himself a few times, and a few untimely penalties didn't help. 2nd half looks more like the offense we've been running all year.
Of course this might just be my confirmation bias!

It's not too late for us to cover!

I'm starting to get concerned about Allen's deep ball accuracy. What's the point of having a big armed qb if he can't hit any deep balls.
I agree, it's been really bad this year. You need to 20% of those at least, not 0%.

Huh?He was wide open by 5 yards. You take that pass every day!
There May have been other options as well but when a guy is that wide open you go there.
Unfortunately, Allen misses another easy 7 points.
Yeah I get it but deep passes are low percentage plays, especially with Allen this year. Daboll has to know that has a very small chance of converting.
-
I hate the play call there. We just needed a base hit, not a home run.

He hasn't been good against the pass either today.
I'll take your word for it. It seems to me like Levi Wallace has been our problem in the pass game. I take back everything I said about him last week. White is much better.

Edmunds again on that first run. His gap.
As good as he's been against the pass he is still having issues against the run. Teams will test it until he proves he can stop them.
-
They're just running it down our throats. We know it's coming and we can't stop it. This is a huge concern moving forward.
-
Alright defense, time to prove you still belong in the conversation for top 5.

Fitz is outplaying Allen, by a mile. That's all you can say.
