  1. Good reminder that coaching is almost as important as talent in the NFL. And the Jets now have the WORST coaching staff in the league. That's why I didn't understand Bills fans that were still worried about them even after Saleh was fired... Saleh was pretty clearly not a great coach, but he brought an energy to the team and his side of the ball was playing at an elite level for most of his tenure. Now they've handed the reins to Jeff Ulbrich, a guy that no one had ever heard of before his sudden ascension. Is anyone surprised they have become a terrible defense? Yes, terrible - you give up 37 to the Steelers and 25 to the Pats, you are a terrible defense. Meanwhile on offense they have Todd Downing and Nate Hackett running the show... Like I said, the WORST coaching staff in the league.
  2. Purdy needs at least 4 elite skill players on the field with him to produce at a top tier level. It's still hilarious to me that he was an MVP favorite last year.
  3. Found the clip (goes from 5:28-6:02): Tell me if I'm crazy. This 30 second clip sold me on him before I had watched a single snap. "When I do get the wheel, it's gonna be something crazy."
  4. No joke, his press conference at the combine was what first drove me to pull up his tape. A Bills beat reporter asked him how he would feel being drafted to be the #2 to Diggs (obviously before the trade) and in his response I saw an assured confidence and a real desire to be great. It sounds dumb when I type it out but I really saw something just in that response. Like he had this glimmer in his eye that told me he was all in. Then I watched him play and read his background and knew it was only a matter of time before he was imposing his will on NFL DBs.
  5. 49ers just handed off on 3rd and 10 🤷‍♂️
  6. People overthought him as a prospect. Size, strength, and body control win in the NFL. And he's only just starting to figure it out. Give him a couple years of NFL seasoning and he will establish an elite connection with Josh.
  7. Joe Brady was outstanding today. The balance of this offense was exactly what I've been wanting - good ratio of passes to runs, throwing the ball to all areas of the field to keep the defense off balance, some 1st down play action mixed in. Nothing flashy, just did whatever we wanted to do all day long.
  8. For real though: Allen Cook Coleman Shakir Douglas/Benford Brady (Joe, not Tom)
  9. The officials! They looked so handsome with all their camera time and their wives are very proud of them.
  10. Hahaha delay of game after a timeout and then you punt...
  11. Honestly the best way to minimize the impact of your LBs is keep putting points on the scoreboard. Before long the LBs won't be doing anything but cleaning up tackles.
  12. Yeah, so what? 3 points scored before the game was over. When your CBs play as well as ours have and you make it a point to stop the run, nobody cares about the LB performance.
  13. Because we were up 4 scores with 10 minutes left... The game is already over. This is just stat padding now.
  14. As someone that has criticized Joe Brady, he's been outstanding today. Perfect balance of passes to runs. Guys are getting schemed open. Seattle really has not been able to stop anything we want to do.
  15. Sure call holding there, even though it's soft. But that is not DPI. It's an uncatchable pass
  16. Fair play to the officials, that is an awful DPI penalty. They're not biased against us. They just stink.
  17. All of his catches last week were when Cooper wasn't on the field. I think you're selling him a little short if you credit Cooper's presence for his break out. No doubt it helps but mostly it is just Keon figuring out how to use his size and body control appropriately to create an open throwing window and leverage at the catch point. It's only gonna get better too. We drafted a physical stud for our physical stud QB... Easy win.
  18. Never had a doubt. Stopping the run is about WILL from the players and INTENT from the coaches. When the offense is missing their best player it's easy to cheat towards stopping the run. Whether your starting MLB is out there or not.
  19. Did somebody say it's pouring? Because we are pouring it on!
  20. There we go! If he can develop to catch these downfield bullets from Josh more consistently it will become an elite connection before long
  21. I notice that when officials throw too many flags, it only makes the players chippier. The officials' first job is to keep the players under control. They have utterly failed their job in this one. Just like the MNF Jets crew.
  22. The back view of the play made it clear that it would have taken a miraculous catch. He did well enough making it to that spot to get his fingertips on it
  23. That's an unbelievable INT haha. I think even Austin Johnson is surprised. Despite all the penalties we have gotten every bounce of the ball so far.
