  1. Other than Von Miller, the best thing that happened to the Bills to this offseason was Tyreek Hill and AJ Brown going to different teams.
  2. He turned down money that would have had his great-great-grandchildren set for life. Just crazy.
  3. Frank Reich is on thin ice this year. Not a good start to a critical season for him.
  4. Thank God the Chiefs traded Tyreek Hill to the Dolphins. He will be totally wasted there.
  5. This is where arm strength makes a ddifference. I've seen Allen fit that pass in there.
  6. Agreed. He is much better than Tommy Sweeney. Oh well.
  7. OJ Howard just caught a TD
  8. Jones passes hang in the air for a looooooong time. I feel spoiled.
  9. I think that whole team is underrated. They had arguably the worst QB situation in the league last year and made the playoffs. Trubisky is an upgrade and their DL is still the best in the league.
  10. Tua is just awful
  11. TuAnon is on one today:
  12. There's a difference between calling a clunker and losing all common sense. My take is that Daboll never wanted to commit to running the ball and that he and McDermott never saw eye to eye on that point. Against the Rams you saw how that commitment kept the defense off balance.
  13. I'm 4 minutes in and this is pretty awful analysis IMO. Only one of the plays I watched did Robinson really appear to be as open as the guy claims and at that point Stafford was sprinting to his right. I respect Stafford's game but he isn't Allen or Mahomes or Rodgers. The Bills zone spacing was as good as I've ever seen it.
  14. Yeah and in that one game I saw Dorsey do things that Daboll never did. I saw a real multiple NFL offense that understood how to put its core players in favorable situations. I promise under Dorsey we will never have a game like 9-6 Jacksonville with 52 called passes to 9 called runs (which is really an unbelievable game script when you think about it).
  15. That's partly on the OC too, though. How many times last year did we see a bunch of long developing plays even when the OL couldn't pass block for more than 3 seconds? Dorsey comes in and his first day on the job we're neutralizing the best defensive player of a generation with the quick passing game and well-schemed run game, and only taking deep shots at the right moments. I think Dorsey being a former QB just gets it in a way Daboll never did.
  16. I have that channel as part of my sports package through Hulu. Everyday it's 1 hour of Kay Adams, and 23 hours of horse racing. No exaggeration. The bottom ticker proudly displays all of that day's moneylines at all times. I'm guessing it will get regular play at OTBs and the like, not so much in people's homes.
  17. You'd be surprised. The Titans were down big against the Rams last year, kept running Henry anyways and eventually it paid off for them. They feed him the ball no matter what. The front 7 has to be ready to grind it out for 60 minutes.
  18. It looks like an option route where Crowder is supposed to sit in zone or keep moving in man. He kind of does both. Slows down and squares up but keeps slowly drifting towards the sideline instead of coming back to the ball. And give credit to the DB for making a great play on the ball. I put this play on Crowder more than Allen, but ultimately it's a timing and feel play between two new teammates that are working out some kinks at the beginning of the season. The chemistry will come with more reps. Crowder will learn what Allen likes and vice versa. In a few weeks they'll run the same play and it will be a big completion.
  19. You beat that look by running the ball effectively. And I never bought the argument that it was a matter of personnel. Guys like Greg Roman and Kyle Shanahan have built elite running games everywhere they go with a bunch of different players and when defenses are specifically scheming to stop the run. That's what the OC is supposed to do, find a way. We had favorable run looks constantly last year and Daboll never figured it out.
  20. In retrospect it's crazy that Daboll couldn't beat a simple 2 high look... it isn't exactly a new concept. His run scheme was so rudimentary. I'm glad he got hired away.
  21. My bold prediction is that he will be the Dolphins QB in 2023. I think he would be a good fit for Mike McDaniel's scheme and we know that team is desperate for a QB that can at least try to keep up with Josh Allen.
  22. I lean conservative on putting injured players back on the field. All the normal cliches apply - it's a marathon not a sprint, etc. Ankle is one of the worst body parts to risk on a 3T that lives off of his first step. If he is anything but 100% cleared by the medical staff I would be cautious, ramp him up slowly, and sit him until week 3 or 4. It's a long season and we have a ton of DL depth to handle this exact scenario. Yep and coming from the Titans he will know their tendencies. He is the x-factor in stopping Henry, not Oliver. Although Oliver has become a top tier run stopper in his own right.
  23. His biggest impact is on the run game. I don't ever remember Daboll calling a play like this: Another one:
