  1. That's the strategy they used in the AFCCG.
  2. They already have 4 losses and we still play them, possibly with Von Miller back. If the Chiefs lose we control our destiny for the #1 seed no matter what else happens. No debate here.
  3. Every time I watch the Dolphins play, Tua short arms a bunch of passes but their receivers pick up a million yards after the catch to score TDs.
  4. He threw a 10 yard pass that turned into a 75 yard TD. The speed on their offense is insane.
  5. The 49ers backup QB was the last pick of the 2022 draft... He also has the name of a high school bully from an 80s movie, Brock Purdy.
  6. Oh well the Dolphins losing isn't as important as the Chiefs losing. We can give the Dolphins their 4th loss.
  7. The Dolphins #3 WR is able to run for a 65 YAC TD. I'm insanely jealous of their skill positions. I'm begging Brandon Beane to overpay OBJ, I don't care what it takes.
  8. He's fine but he isn't the savior they all wanted. He's going to parlay this year into a really nice backup career though which isn't bad for a former 5th rounder from Western Kentucky.
  9. I feel like you don't want to be in 1st place this early, not with so many other games to play.
  10. The Jets still don't have a QB. As long as our offense doesn't crap all over itself like last time that's an easy win.
  11. The Jets really screwed this up. They have likely burned the bridge with Zack Wilson and have to start over finding a QB. When you draft someone #2 overall you have to give them two years minimum to develop and show what they have.
  12. I'm good with it. Teams have a habit of blowing their next game after emotional comeback wins. Look what the Vikings did against the Cowboys after they beat us.
  13. He's played 60% of our special teams snaps and was a draft pick from this year. Zero chance we were risking him on waivers. I believe Hodgins was waived when Kumerow was back healthy, by the time he got injured again Hodgins was already gone. I'm sure the Bills would like to have him as a call-up option but if we're down to Isaiah Hodgins taking offensive snaps on this roster things have gotten really out of hand. I'm not even remotely worried about it.
  14. Wow AJ Brown. Still no clue why the Titans traded him away but thank God they did.
  15. You're complaining because the Eagles did this and came 16 yards short of the endzone? Statistically a turnover or an injury is more likely to happen in that situation.
  16. It doesn't work that way. Hodgins was never going to stick on our active roster and we can't stop a team from signing him off our practice squad. Who do we cut to keep Hodgins on the active roster?
  17. Huh? When have the Bills not been aggressive in end of half situations?
  18. Nah. He's a practice squad caliber player. Duke Williams caught a TD too. A lot of below replacement level players do. But I'm happy to see him get one.
  19. Terron Armstead officially inactive for the Dolphins. That's a big loss going against a monster DL.
  20. Isaiah Hodgins just ran a really nice endzone route and caught a TD.
  21. By rule, yes. This line of questioning doesn't make sense in context with the modern rules. There are a lot of plays where if the DB doesn't let the WR catch it, it's a penalty. Just like you can't ever tackle a WR early before they have a chance to try and catch the ball, you can't ever lay a violent hit on the WR's head. To avoid possible penalties like that you have to be in a better position to make a play on the ball or undercut the pass. That doesn't mean Hamlin did the wrong thing in the moment, just like there are CBs that will intentionally interfere with their WR because they know they're about to be beat for a deep TD. It's still a penalty.
  22. I could be wrong but I don't think the ejection was meant to be a punishment and I don't think he would have been ejected in a game that still mattered. Sometimes officials use their discretion to stop a play like this from snowballing into a worse conflict. They would never come out and say this was the reason why he was ejected, but taking him out of the game stops any thoughts of retaliation from the Patriots. Especially in a game between division rivals where things already have a tendency to get chippy. This is a somewhat hidden role that the officials have, they're supposed to keep games from getting out of control.
