  1. It's both. They replaced a dynamic talent with mediocre WRs. They're not getting the separation that we're used to seeing from the Chiefs. It's even clearer to me on the live all-22 footage.
  2. Outside of one play Mahomes has been really spotty tonight. I can't believe anyone thought they would lose an elite WR without missing a beat.
  3. Mike Williams gets zero separation and still manages to make play after play. It's tough being nothing but a contested catch specialist in the NFL but he's talented enough to do it.
  4. The live all-22 footage is incredible. I feel like I've been watching football wrong my whole life.
  5. Yeah it's pretty awesome. Here's a couple snapshots of what it looks like for anyone that can't see:
  6. I'm watching it on my Amazon fire stick. I press down on my remote and there's a broadcast option for Prime Vision. Not sure how to do it on a computer. If you're watching it through Amazon I assume there's an option somewhere to change the broadcast.
  7. I just switched to the Prime Vision broadcast, it's pretty cool. Every now and then they flip to an all-22 view and all the players have bubbles underneath them like you're playing Madden. It's a much better view to watch the play develop.
  8. That's the difference between Herbert and Allen. Allen would have run for the 1st there, zero doubt in my mind.
  9. They're different without Tyreek Hill. Don't let the Cardinals awful game plan fool you.
  10. I'm surprised KC is running the ball so much. They're mostly terrible at it.
  11. This is the kind of crap that makes people suspicious about the NFL's integrity.
  12. Herbert is more of a traditional pocket passer. He can't escape pressure as well as Allen.
  13. Anybody who pays more than cursory attention to football knows that you don't blitz Mahomes. They blitzed him on 54% of snaps... It might be the worst defensive game plan I've ever seen.
  14. They lost a game against the Chiefs last year because they wouldn't kick field goals. No need to try and win the game in the 1st quarter. They invested in their defense for a reason.
  15. This is an impressive rep from the rookie:
  16. The way I look at it is that his absolute ceiling is Kirk Cousins and he's currently not anywhere near his ceiling. His optimistic upside is Jimmy Garrappolo. Currently he's a physically limited one-read QB which is barely even backup level.
  17. So all the former players that have publicly criticized him are flailing? I don't know what we're even arguing about anymore.
  18. Favre is your example? Everyone knows he was and still is a ****. That article is a teammate of his criticizing him just like Wilson's teammates have criticized him. The point is that he isn't a leader and is a legend in his own mind.
  19. @FireChans @GoBills808 Normal behavior for a professional athlete, right?
  20. Players with less than 15 snaps don't get graded at all. But like you said there were ton of players graded between B- and B+, so Brown's ranking is more about the quality play of others rather than his own failures. He didn't talk too much about the OL but he mentions that Bates was dominated in his matchup against Donald. It's obviously a tough matchup for even the best guards, but Joe doesn't grade it on a curve.
  21. As usual I will post snippets but not the whole article. Top 5 grades: 1) Josh Allen (A) 2) Jordan Phillips (A-) 3) Von Miller (A-) 4) Stefon Diggs (A-) 5) Dion Dawkins (A-) Bottom 5 grades: 1) Ryan Bates (D+) 2) Kaiir Elam (C) 3) Rodger Saffold (C+) 4) Zack Moss (B-) 5) Spencer Brown (B-)
  22. Here's the man himself discussing the late 4th quarter run:
  23. The way this game played out is why I care a lot less about OL than most of this board as long as Allen is here. A weak OL is the easiest weakness to hide when you have a smart QB with mobility and a quick passing scheme. Donald had his way with Bates the whole game and it didn't matter. Last year it took us 3/4 of the season before we stopped banging our heads against the wall with long developing pass plays and as soon as we transitioned away from that our offense blew up. I expect our offense to look like that all year long.
  24. I'll be rooting for this. The Ravens are the bigger threat. The more losses they take the better.
