I see several posters that want to see their 3rd stringer Skylar Thompson start against the Bills next week.

The Ravens could be a problem if Lamar Jackson keeps playing like this. I was rooting for the Dolphins to beat them today, the more losses they rack up the less they threaten the #1 seed.

The bright side for the Dolphins is they can trade up for a QB next year using their two 1st round picks. It's not like a 45 year old QB in the opposite conference is going to come out of nowhere and ruin that for them.

Their DL is no joke either. Credit to Dan Campbell for having that team play with energy after several decades of ineptitude.

Former Bills training camp participant David Sills, now on the Giants, just did that stupid thing where he caught the ball past the 1st down marker on 3rd down then ran backwards and got tackled short.

I think the 4th down aggressiveness has gone too far. So many coaches trying to win the game in the 1st quarter. Sometimes you should just take points until you know the flow of the game.

I think the Colts might be terrible. Somehow worse with Matt Ryan at QB than they were with Wentz.

I'd watch Ravens/Dolphins if it was on locally, since it's not I'll just watch RZ. I'm rooting for the Dolphins. I think the Ravens and Chiefs are our biggest threats to the #1 seed so I'm rooting against them every week.

I would love to see him matched up against Roger McCreary. Battle of the t-rexes.

Did you watch the game last night? Did you think that looked like the normal Chiefs offense of 2018-2021?

When did your predictions become so optimistic?

Yeah the weirdest discourse I heard in the offseason was that the Chiefs offense would somehow be better without Tyreek Hill on the field. If you tried to tell Chiefs fans there's no way that would happen, they would throw out Mahomes's record in games that Hill missed as if that alone ended the argument. Turns out going from arguably the most dynamic offensive talent in the game to a pair of mediocre WRs has a negative impact.

And yet Allen has been the much better QB over the last 3 games played. The last 3 games Mahomes played he was spotty against the Chargers, dominated the Cardinals, and played an awful 2nd half against the Bengals. I don't care even a little bit about his TD to INT ratio from this year. I've watched every throw in each of their last 3 games. I know what my eyes tell me. As the season goes on we'll get more evidence. I'm not ready to put Allen above Mahomes just yet, they're still equal for me, but I think it's even more ridiculous to put Mahomes above Allen at this point.
