That's a great point. Chiefs are on their backup kicker and you gifted them a 1 point lead.

The Raiders are going to lose this game because of a defensive holding call on a missed FG. Unbelievable.
-
Carr doing his best Mahomes impression there. That's a hell of a throw.
-
The Raiders finding a new way to commit a penalty in a tight game versus a superior opponent is classic drought era Bills stuff. They should fire McDaniels now before it's too late. I know how this story ends.
-
Hand the ball off to your slow RB on 1st down and watch him run into a lineman's butt. They're the same offense.
-
I swear the Chiefs and Bills have the same offense. Moving the ball without problem and then a waste of a run play goes for negative yards, this eventually leads to a 3rd and long that the QB finds a way to convert anyways.
-
The Raiders should probably realize that the whole point of man coverage is you're supposed to cover your man.
-
Why bother with a designed 4 down pass on 2nd and 21. What concept are you even trying to execute there.
-
What is the point of blitzing Mahomes if you're not even going to breathe on him. Raiders defense is awful. Stop Jones and Crosby and they have no other quality talent at any position.
-
Clyde Edwards-Helaire reminds me of Zack Moss in the sense that any time they try to get him involved it becomes a waste of a play.
-
Why is the call correct? I try to give refs the benefit of the doubt but there's nothing Jones can do there. He would have to contort his body to not fall on Carr.
-
That's utter nonsense. LV is getting calls in this one. A lot of public betting on the Chiefs. This is why people get suspicious.
-
However this game turns out, it's good for the Bills that the Chiefs are getting pulled into a dogfight against a division rival with a short week to prepare for us.

The biggest selling point for a new coach is draft picks to pick their preferred QB and build around him. Right now in 2023 they have just a 1st, a 2nd, a 4th, a 5th, and a 7th. A 27 year old RB is not going to help them rebuild. They need a pipeline of young talent.
-
If we're gonna do this, do it now and get him here in time to incorporate him into the offense before KC. Imagine disrupting all the defensive game planning they've done on us just 4-5 days before they have to play us.
-
I don't understand all the details but several knowledgeable people on Twitter have said that we would only owe him $600K this season and could cut him in the offseasom without any dead cap for 2023. Carolina would retain most of his salary.
-
Carolina has had a bad OL for years and a poor QB situation, and he's still been able to produce when healthy. McCaffrey is an ELITE talent. The only thing holding him back has been injuries, and he wouldn't have to be a focal point of our offense here. Plus we could get him involved in the pass game as another solution to the cover 2 defenses we're facing almost every week. Davis as a deep threat and McCaffrey as a short passing threat makes us basically immune to any kind of defensive scheme. It's a no brainer move assuming Carolina is willing to do it at a reasonable price.
-
Because he hasn't really proven himself worthy of being more than a deep threat. There's nothing wrong with that skill set, but ideally your #2 WR should excel at every route. OBJ would give us more consistency at the position on a play to play basis and we'd be able to use Davis in his preferred role stretching the field vertically.
-
Just throwing this out there - if we trade for McCaffrey we'd only be responsible for about $600K of his salary this year and could cut him in the offseason with zero dead cap. We're in our Super Bowl window. What do we have to lose?
-
There are opportunities for him in this offense that wouldn't be there in others. Against cover 2 defenses you can get behind the safeties. Since that's pretty much the only defense we face and defenses are focused on Diggs and Allen's legs it gives Davis those chances. I think we had some deep chances against Baltimore that Allen didn't even look at and it appears that we made that a priority this week.
-
Not in that way he hasn't. He isn't fast enough to get that angle on the safety. I guarantee Fitzpatrick would have stopped Singletary after he made it past the 1st down marker. We have zero other rushing TDs scored by RBs this year... Lack of speed is a big reason why.
-
Singletary would have had a 1st but couldn't speed past the safety like that to get in the endzone. Moss would have tripped on his own feet after a 5 yard gain.

Has anyone in this thread mentioned that the Bills lost to the Jags last year?
