  1. The thing about that season is that Mahomes and the Chiefs offense were doing things that had NEVER been seen in the history of the NFL. The league wasn't ready for it yet. Slowly but surely defenses have figured out how to slow them down, and now every coach not named Kliff Kingsbury is following the same formula.
  2. Nothing the passer.
  3. I don't know why Herbert never just runs the ball. He gives up so many potential 1st downs. He got lucky on that PI.
  4. I've decided it's pointless to try and rank Allen and Mahomes. They're the 2 best QBs in the league and then everyone else is somewhere beneath them. In a lot of areas they're very similar - accuracy to all levels of the field, pre- and post-snap recognition, pocket presence, decision making. And then they each have their own unique skill that takes them to another level of QBing the likes of which we've never seen. For Mahomes it's the ridiculous arm angles and trick shot throws. For Allen it's the ability to run, juke, truck, and/or hurdle defenders. I think it will be a long time before any other QB enters the league that can consistently match up against them.
  5. Nah. Holding them to a 62 yard FG try is a win. They made it, good for them. I'll take that every time over an aggressive defense that leaves us vulnerable to a deep TD completion. The problem with the divisional game is we didn't squib it. Squibbing it this time took 4 seconds off the clock. In the divisional round that would have meant 9 seconds instead of 13 seconds. I think that would have made the difference.
  6. I'm guessing he won't be moved until the deadline. Either a team will give up a 1st or the Panthers will take the best offer on October 31.
  7. Isn't his skill set pretty much the same as Gabe Davis? A receiver like OBJ I get because he gives us something more well rounded.
  8. It doesn't matter. There's the Bills and Chiefs and Eagles, and then everyone else. The other teams can beat one of us when we have an off day. The Jets beating the Packers is a nice little story for them but they're still playing a different sport compared to us. If Zack Wilson ever starts playing at an elite level then we can add them to the conversation.
  9. I know the play you're talking about. But unfortunately Moss was inactive today. Maybe next time.
  10. The game was over when Chris Jones tripped Allen and didn't get called for it. That's the moment that Allen went nuclear which means he's hurdling 6' tall men and throwing dots into the corner of the endzone.
  11. The play he had right before halftime to make a tough catch in traffic, then have the wherewithal to regain his balance and run out of bounds, was one of the best plays I've seen him make here. That's the kind of play that comes from being totally locked in 24/7.
  12. This is why he's the MVP. He makes the impossible look ordinary.
  13. I've never seen an NFL skill position player look so clumsy on the field. I get guys that are physically outmatched or make dumb decisions in the moment, but how can you be an NFL wide receiver with the coordination of a teenage boy going through puberty?
  14. I've said this for years - they need an offsite officiating crew that watches games live and makes calls when the refs miss them. The networks have slow motion replays from every angle you could possibly imagine. It would take 5 seconds for someone to radio in and say that Chris Jones tripped Allen. For no discernable reason we're trusting game changing decisions to retired school principals that are standing in the middle of an NFL game and have to keep their eye on a million things at once. I don't get angry at the refs for missing things, they have an impossible job. I'm angry that the league doesn't take steps to fix an obvious problem with an obvious solution.
  15. There was a short yardage run that Singletary flubbed, made a pointless extra move instead of hitting the hole. McCaffrey doesn't make that mistake.
  16. Singletary is decent but there are opportunities on the field for so much more. There's a reason Cook is the only RB to score a rushing TD this year - speed matters in the red zone. The Bills proved tonight they are capable of beating the Chiefs even when Mahomes is playing well. BUT they didn't prove that a Super Bowl appearance is all but guaranteed. McCaffrey puts us over the top. Get it done.
  17. Stats don't matter at this point. He out-played his only real competition in a head to head victory. The MVP race is over.
  18. Everyone expected a shootout but i prefer these types of close games and it isn't close. Two heavyweights getting their shots in on both sides of the ball.
  19. NFL MVP Josh Allen Diggs Davis Miller Milano Johnson
  20. If not for McKenzie we wouldn't even be in this heart attack game right now. I hate the Chiefs with a passion.
  21. See how easy that is?? Do it literally every time!
