Panthers request to interview Dorsey for HC
HappyDays replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills will never have an issue attracting top OC talent as long as Josh Allen is here. And we aren't ever going to radically change the type of offense we run. If we have to replace our OC every 2-3 years the next OC will know Allen's strengths and will basically just work with him to run the same type of offense. Case in point we went from Daboll to Dorsey and really didn't miss a beat on offense. By some metrics our offense is actually much better than last year. -
We also still have a number of contracts we can restructure, most notably Allen's, to open up a lot more cap space. A lot of Bills fans have the view that we will be extremely tight this offseason. I don't agree. Beane has left plenty of breathing room in the outstanding contracts, and we have an owner who is cash-rich enough to front load future contracts with bonus money. No doubt in my mind we could re-sign Edmunds, Poyer, and Oliver if we really wanted to, although realistically I expect one of those three to be the odd man out. And then I still think we'll have enough room left over to sign a starting caliber WR and G.

I think we pretty much have to re-sign Edmunds. We have too many holes elsewhere on the roster to create another one by letting Edmunds walk. The initially reported numbers will be eye-popping but Beane is smart enough and Pegula is rich enough to structure the contract well. Edmunds strikes me as a pretty low-key guy, I don't think he's hunting for the biggest contract in NFL history.

Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
HappyDays replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
For a 2nd it's a no brainer. Money might be an issue. But Allen has said before he is willing to restructure his contract to put a better team around him. I'm sure he would love to have a jump ball receiver like Hopkins so I think we could make it work. I don't care if he's on the wrong side of 30, he is still a game changer and our Super Bowl window isn't going away any time soon. -
Is this what an education in Brentwood, TN gets you?

He isn't. Beasley looks like a lesser version of the lesser version of himself that he was last year. He looks exactly like the kind of guy you call up from the PS three times a year because of injury. I think his ceiling in the playoffs is maybe getting two 1st down catches per game. Personally I'd rather call up John Brown if it's one or the other, at least I know Brown still has the ability to make an explosive play as we saw yesterday.

Panthers request to interview Dorsey for HC

I can absolutely imagine David Tepper, one of the dumbest owners in all of sports, thinking "hey the last guy that coached Josh Allen and became head coach looks like a pretty good hire!" Otherwise this interview makes no sense, and I say that as someone that thinks Dorsey has done a good job this year. -
These are out of context stats. By DVOA New England is 3rd, Cincy is 11th, KC is 17th. If you're trying to convince people that New England isn't the best of those three you're on your own.
