  1. Davis is a lot better when we use him as a pure vertical receiver. We need someone more well rounded to be our full time #2. Luckily OBJ is still out there and all the signs point to us getting him. We'll be fine with what we have until then.
  2. This is what every post bye week game has looked like in the McDermott era. Sloppy play from just about everyone, but we find a way to win. Easy to shake off a bad game that we still won by 10 points.
  3. I love this Jets/Pats game regardless of who wins because it proves that both teams are stuck in QB purgatory.
  4. Kareem Hunt is the only name left that makes sense. We clearly want a pass catching RB but have no faith in James Cook.
  5. But he apparently isn't for sale. We're definitely in the market for a RB. Makes me think Kareem Hunt is an option.
  6. This is what Prime does for their TNF broadcasts. Live all-22 footage so you can see the plays develop a lot better. I hope they get the streaming contract and bring that footage to every game.
  7. No, Davis is here next year no matter. He's set to be a FA in 2024. Anyways we're better off with both. I love Davis as a vertical WR, especially in this offense, but he has not proved himself capable of being consistent with all of the routes a full time WR2 should be able to run. OBJ immediately gives us a more well rounded WR2 and we'd have the luxury of bringing him along slowly. Ideally we're going into the divisional round with a fully healthy and well acclimated Tre White and OBJ.
  8. This has been said about every talented WR that failed on a bad offense. Sammy Watkins. Kenny Golladay. Allen Robinson. Etc. Eventually you just have to accept the player isn't any good or doesn't have the right attitude to be successful.
  9. No way Claypool gets traded at that price.
  10. You can play this ifs and buts game every week. Going 1-1 on long FG attempts is not unusual. JuJu Smith-Schuster breaking 3 tackles to score a 41 yard TD is unusual. Both teams had sloppy redzone turnovers so that's a wash. I'd say the final score ended right where it should. You guys threw some blitzes at us that we took too long to adjust to. Our defense just played its normal game and forced you into long drives. That's the difference compared to the divisional game. You don't have Tyreek to sprint 60 yards for a TD and Mahomes can't simply escape the pressure we put on him. I'm elated that Tyreek was traded, even though it was to our division rival it's still a big net positive for our Super Bowl chances.
  11. Lol they aren't calling holding this year but that was as bad as it gets. What did the LT think was going to happen?
  12. Every player on Tampa looks bored and disinterested in the outcome of the game. I've taken more exciting naps. I think Bowles might be the worst head coach in the league.
  13. It's Brady's own fault. He didn't like having a head coach that had the balls to stand up to him so he forced Arians out and inserted a generic yes man coach.
  14. I really think Bowles is an awful head coach. Everyone just looks so unprepared and out of sync in all 3 phases.
  15. I don't know about that CJ Golson guy who said Hunt to the Rams and OBJ to the Bills, but I know for a fact this account is garbage. One of many Incarcerated Bob knockoffs. "Per CBS Sports" is completely made up.
  16. This is the problem with an offense that can only move the ball 5 yards at a time. It's nice for getting a few 1st downs, but one penalty or sack and suddenly you have 20 yards to go and the drive falls apart. You can't have consistent success without explosive plays.
  17. That's all fair, but as a Bills fan I dont care how you guys perform against other defenses. Tyreek Hill being traded away makes it much easier for our defense to stop you, and we saw that two weeks ago. I would argue that the improvement in offensive DVOA from last year to this year is more about Mahomes not inexplicably forgetting how to play QB like he did over a several game stretch last year. He's back at his usual elite level, but even playing at that level we were able to hold you to 20 points. In the long term the trade makes sense, in the short term it makes you less likely to win a Super Bowl this year.
  18. We can't afford another pass rusher coming up on his contract year. DL is the last thing we need right now. This is only fun to think about for the name. If any team trades for him I'd bet on the Seahawks. They're suddenly an NFC contender and desperately need help for their pass rush.
  19. Well if Kareem Hunt is in fact traded to the Rams for a future 3rd round pick at the deadline, I'll believe that OBJ is coming here once he's healed up. Maybe that's why the Chiefs traded for Toney, they found out they were out of the OBJ sweepstakes.
  20. That would be an incredibly dumb trade for the Rams but it wouldn't be a surprise given that we know they were in on McCaffrey. I have no clue why a middling team with a poor OL that desperately needs young talent at premium positions wants to trade a decent pick for a RB, but that's the Rams formula I guess.
  21. #1 WRs need to run routes. He is a slot and gadget specialist. He was way overdrafted.
  22. Jeudy's issues are catching the ball and staying healthy. That is not remotely comparable to Diggs in Minnesota.
  23. Tyreek ran a 4.29 40, Toney ran a 4.39 40. He does NOT have top 1% speed like Tyreek does. He's certainly fast but more shifty than speedy. Toney is a matchup problem with the ball in his hands. He isn't someone I expect to beat teams over the top very frequently.
  24. I don't really see Tyreek in his game, he isn't so much a deep threat he's a YAC specialist.
