Do yourself a favor and keep it new to you. Nobody ever looks back on their life and wishes they had gambled more.

The Eagles bizarrely are losing in the trenches tonight.

See people blame our OL for Singletary and Moss's struggles over the years, but here's a rookie in Dameon Pierce picking up chunks behind a poor OL. I hate how hard it's been for us to find a good running game in the Allen era. No that guy bet the moneyline which means the Eagles just need to win, that's why the potential winnings are so low compared to the bet amount.

To the surprise of absolutely no one other than Lovie Smith, corner routes beat Tampa 2. I don't think he knows any other scheme though.
-
Feels like the entire Eagles passing offense tonight is just wide open corner routes.
-
Shocked that the Eagles didn't manage to snap that in time.

I'm happy for Jerry

I hate how nervous I was that the NFL was going to get that one wrong.

Dameon Pierce might be the next great RB. Unfortunately his rookie contract will probably be up before the Texans are even close to competitive.
-
Ah jeez, Colin Cowherd isn't going to be happy about that.

Week 9: Bills at Jets - Sunday Nov. 6th 1pm
HappyDays replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Joe's breakdown of Zach Wilson's play this season is worth listening to. To summarize, Wilson is holding the ball for longer than almost any QB, but he isn't pushing the ball downfield, and when he does push the ball downfield it isn't going well. The Jets run a Shanahan scheme which is designed to get the ball out quick but Wilson isn't playing within the system which is leading to defensive pressure and he's performing extremely poorly under pressure. I don't expect him to suddenly turn it around against our defense. -

He got a B+ and was the 6th rated player. Diggs and Knox also got B+. -

At 4:50 Mike Florio says everything he's hearing is that OBJ is coming to Buffalo, it's just a matter of time.

Moss is a weird dude. A year or so ago he made his way onto Joe Marino's Locked On Bills podcast, to promote his own new podcast. The bizarre part was how terrible he sounded. He's trying to promote his podcast but he sounds like an introverted high school student delivering a book report. A lot of uh's and muttering and generally just not pleasant to listen to. Why is a depth RB with poor public speaking skills starting a podcast? I don't want to be the guy that criticizes players for doing anything other than play football, but for a player at his level just getting started in his career it was a bizarre choice.

Apparently when Schefter broke the news live on ESPN, he reported that Hines requested a trade. This is per several Colts fans on Twitter. He wasn't happy with his usage there.
-
No, that's not negativity about the trade. That's negativity about the 2nd round selection of James Cook. Two totally different conversations but I understand where you got confused.
-
Right, like I said. We gave up nothing more than a 6th round pick.
-
I still very much want OBJ. We can end up adding him and Hines for nothing more than a conditional 6th round pick and a small amount of cap space. You couldn't draw it up any better than that. That's how a team goes all in for the short term without sacrificing the long term.
-
Yes according to Spotrac: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/nyheim-hines-25205/
-
Reading through the thread, do the people who are negative about this trade realize we literally just gave up a 6th round pick? If we draft a player in the 6th round and cut him after training camp no one bats an eye. Even if Hines is somehow a complete bust for us we don't lose anything worthwhile, we just cut him after the season for $0 dead cap. We might as well have gotten Hines for free. Hell I'll trade the 6th round pick just for the privilege of knowing I will NEVER again watch Zack Moss singlehandedly kill one of our drives.
-
Hines has had 2 muffed punts on over 100 punt returns since entering the league. Over the same time period he has had 2 punt returns for TDs. Yeah he will immediately be our primary punt returner.
