  1. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Allen has been good to very good outside of one disgusting interception. The Jets have a good defense and our WRs outside of Diggs aren't getting open.
  2. Yeah, it was a comeback route. Allen ran away from pressure and threw it to a perfect spot. Sorry but Davis has to be better than that. He seems to only make big plays when running vertical routes. We need more from our #2.
  3. He isn't. Our offense has been fine since the first INT and Allen is smartly checking down or throwing the ball away when the routes are covered. That time Davis just dropped it.
  4. I'll give Cook a pass for the 1st down drop, and 2nd down Allen smartly threw it away. But 3rd down the play is there to be made and Davis drops it on a perfect throw.
  5. Come on Gabe. He has fallen asleep the past two weeks.
  6. Wow Cook is starting to really look good. I didn't see that contact balance from him in the first 8 weeks.
  7. Yep Cook is starting to fit right in. He gives us a lot more as a checkdown option than Singletary.
  8. That was an excellent defensive play. We smacked the QB and still stopped the screen.
  9. Jaquan Johnson really just isn't any good. I hope Poyer heals up soon.
  10. Our offense actually looks really good moving the ball against a good defense. Still no clue what happened on that INT but it looks like Allen shook it off.
  11. The offense is moving just fine. No stupid turnovers please.
  12. I won't lie I'm nervous about this. He looked very small and overmatched in preseason. I wonder if we'll see more LIB blitzes than usual today, that's his strength.
  13. I don't know, I feel like they're being way too cautious with him. Eventually they have to start acclimating him in. Players come back from ACL injuries just fine these days, they're treating him like he broke every bone in his body.
  14. He was listed with an ankle injury yesterday but that designation was removed.
  15. I love that he goes out and makes the no-brainer moves that we were sorely lacking in the drought years. It was obvious in 2019 that we needed a #1 WR so he gets Stefon Diggs. It was obvious in 2021 that we needed a top tier edge rusher so he gets Von Miller. It was obvious this year that we needed more explosiveness from our backfield so he gets Nyheim Hines. So many teams fail at the obvious things. And he's made all of these moves without shortening our Super Bowl window even a tiny bit. Like you said - stud.
  16. What I appreciate about Beane is that he isn't just a good talent and salary cap GM, he's also a great representative of the team and city. After 20 years of clueless executives he is a breath of fresh air.
  17. I've seen this brought up a lot, but is the ACL injury rate at MetLife actually worse than other stadiums? I know the turf vs natural grass thing is real, but MetLife isn't the only stadium with turf. We have to get him acclimated at some point. I feel like the whole fanbase and the team are being a little too fearful about his risk of re-injury. It isn't actually that likely.
  18. I'm thinking we'll see Tre on at least a few snaps this weekend. Probably leave Dane Jackson in for 100% of snaps and get Tre some reps opposite him.
  19. If you're grading our pass protection on a curve, yes it has been very good. OL play across the league is at an all time low. The Eagles probably have the best OL in the league and even they struggled a bit against the Texans tonight. We have two top 10-ish starters in Dawkins and Morse which is more than at least half the league can say. You look at a team like the Chiefs who have invested a ton into their OL, and their fans complain that it is a weakness. Every fanbase feels that way.
  20. I enjoy watching the Sabres in person once in a while, it's the thing to do in Buffalo. But on TV hockey mostly bores me. I think I'm an unusual sports fan because I am obsessed with football but don't care about any other sport. I went to a Bandits (local pro lacrosse team) game a couple years ago and was bored out of my mind. EDIT: I'll add that I only care about pro football. College football also bores me, I only pay attention to it as it pertains to the draft.
  21. Mills is terrible. I'm watching the all-22 broadcast on Prime and I saw about three routes get open downfield on the play that he just tucked and ran up the middle. He's hesitating on even simple sideline throws. I would happily pay Josh Jacobs and put the problem behind us once and for all, but I doubt our cap constraints will make that possible.
  22. It isn't, but it's easier for him because defenses are game planning around Allen's arm and conceding RB production. As much as fans are going to hate it we're going to have to draft a RB somewhat early next year. Singletary is gone in the offseason and we have no one else to be an every down back. It's frustrating that other teams find plus RBs between rounds 2 and 5 all the time, but we have come up empty.
  23. 11 rushing TDs in 3.5 seasons is incredibly weak. He's fine... just doesn't give us anything extra. And obviously Moss is terrible.
