  1. There was never a such thing as an Edmunds hater. Before this season he didn't live up to his draft status and was often times singled out and exploited by smart offenses. This year everything has finally clicked for him and it's impossible to imagine the defense being successful without him. I'm not going to eat crow. He developed into a much better player. Instead of pretending that he has always been this good I'm going to credit him for working his ass off to get to this point. And yes I would happily reward him with a big contract at the end of the season.
  2. First Pats offensive play of the game was about to be a big run for a 1st down and more, and immediately Rousseau reminded us all why we missed him getting his big paws on the RB and taking him down after a measley two yards. Three plays later they have to punt. It was a tone-setting play and it was one of many that he single handedly wrecked.
  3. It's crazy that throws like that were never completed in the entire history of the NFL, and then two QBs who could do it regularly entered the league at the same time. Just like Manning and Brady, Mahomes and Allen are stylistically perfect rivals for each other.
  4. Those easy yards have been there all year. We just haven't taken them. I think the Titans and Steelers games might have broken Dorsey's brain. He now thinks that if we're up by 14 points we must go up by 21 points within 3 plays or he failed. He removed his head from his posterior at halftime tonight and got us back on track taking the free yards. Hopefully this is a permanent change. Football doesn't have to be that complicated.
  5. McKenzie is fine but he is not "super talented" or even above average. I think most championship offenses have the elite QB plus two top tier offensive weapons. We're missing one piece to really put us over the top IMO.
  6. McDermott was just asked about this, he basically said it was just about what they saw on tape and alluded to a "good competition" between Rhodes and Elam. This is pretty troubling. Gross answer.
  7. Tonight's game didn't put this take to bed. The whole offense is just Allen and Diggs. Even a lot of the run yards we get are because of how defenses play us to limit Allen and Diggs. An elite QB plus an elite WR is enough to create an elite offense. But we could definitely use more.
  8. Allen Diggs Morse Bates Rousseau Edmunds Poyer I try to limit my game balls but a lot of guys had very solid games tonight.
  9. I saw the Bills lose this exact game to the Patriots a million times. We get an early lead off of some flukey play, then the Patriots run the most boring offense you've ever seen with a couple splash plays thrown in and before you know it we're losing by 3 scores and throwing check downs on 3rd and long. I could get used to 20 years of this.
  10. Isn't Mac Jones supposed to be accurate? Isn't that his whole thing? His passes are all over the place tonight. What exactly does he do well?
  11. I hope so. That or he got ill or his ankle injury flared up. Nothing else makes any sense.
  12. Nothing I've seen from Rhodes or Jackson tonight helps me understand why we benched Elam. I hope we get some answers after the game.
  13. That's where Singletary frustrates me. I feel like literally every single other RB in the league gets a 1st down there. He's just so slow.
  14. Outside of losing his head for two consecutive drives Dorsey has called an excellent game. Nothing crazy. Just fundamentals and calling plays to take advantage of what the defense is giving us.
  15. Mac Jones is a poor man's Case Keenum. Change my mind.
  16. It's an utterly boring style of offense. The Patriots built a two decade dynasty out of it.
  17. Boom. 95 yards with nothing but simple runs and short passes. I hope Dorsey learned something tonight. If defenses want to give us easy yards for free, take them.
  18. 1st down run for 3 yards 2nd down run for 3 yards 3rd down throw to Diggs That's this whole drive. Fundamentals win.
  19. Poor #31 has been run through the washing machine tonight
  20. I swear we are the only team I ever see called for defensive holding on run plays.
  21. It was actually a very well calls drive. Quick passes and runs to make up for Quessenberry's ineptitude.
  22. When you really think about it, it's insane how much Allen has to overcome on a game to game basis to score points. Imagine this offense with like Kirk Cousins.
  23. Please sign OBJ!! Give him a multi-year deal, overpay him, whatever it takes. I can't stand to watch Davis be a central part of this offense anymore.
  24. You can't "but if" a play where we had our 3rd string TE blocking a starting DE. That is destined to fail.
