Dorsey is responsible for this being close. He hamstrings this offense with inexplicably bad play calls and predictable play calls.

Yeah, and? We are moving the ball at will when Dorsey doesn't get in the way. You guys have to learn that Allen playing like that is the best thing for him. Let him leave the pocket a little early sometimes. Who cares?

You say that but when he escapes right the offense becomes extremely dangerous, more than him just standing in the pocket. I get from a traditional QB standpoint that is the wrong play, but for Josh you have to let him play his game.

We needed a player like Shakir to step up like this! Also switch over to Prime Vision if you haven't already. It identified Shakir as being wide open about 2 seconds before Allen saw him. It's an awesome viewing experience.

That's why I hated the play call. It's a play designed to take advantage of YAC pass catchers... that is not our offense.

No one was open. Didn't like the route combinations there at all.

Only criticism I have is we should have run the ball more on one of the last two series. Didn't much like the play calling at the end. But at least we looked smooth.

The pick of Elam bothers me a lot less than the handling of him.

Yeah that substitution was a joke. Another dumb coaching decision in a critical moment in a close game that ultimately cost us a win. Under McDermott there have been way too many of those decisions in those moments. For someone who claims to be a detail oriented person, he sure misses a lot of details. It's really crazy that we're actually putting Josh Norman onto the active roster. It justifies so many criticisms that have been levied against McDermott over the past few years.

CJ Golson is a fraud. Just makes stuff up and occasionally gets lucky.

Remember last year when we elevated Xavier Rhodes for one game and made Elam inactive, and Rhodes predictably looked like crap in his limited action? Then late in the season Elam looked like by far our best CB and made several game changing plays including a game winning INT in the playoffs? I have no reason to believe this coaching staff knows what it is doing with this move. Just blindly throwing darts at the wall.

I don't think Isabella is going to replace anyone. My guess is we are going with a ton of 11 personnel tonight so they just want the extra WR. But we'll see.
