  1. When I say QB friendly I mean in a way where he instinctually knows how to make himself available in coverage gaps. I don't see that from Knox.
  2. I think they're different types of athletes. Knox is more straight line explosive and can bulldoze defenders. Kincaid is much more fluid than Knox, his hip fluidity in particular is outstanding which is why he looks so smooth on the field. Knox can't do this: That fluidity also makes him a great safety valve in a way that Knox never has been IMO. He has an uncanny ability to sit in holes in coverage, catch the ball, and then immediately turn and accelerate upfield. That skill set combined with his natural feel for making himself available makes him lethal against zone coverage. This is a part of Knox's game that I don't think ever really developed. He isn't particularly QB friendly. Kincaid is going to be a high target player in this offense IMO and it won't be just because Allen and Dorsey decided to use their TEs more. It's because we added 2020 Cole Beasley back into the offense but 8 inches taller and 60 pounds heavier.
  3. I'm seeing a lot of criticism about how Dorsey and Allen didn't use Knox enough last year, so why take Kincaid? But think of him as a big slot WR, not a TE. Beane said it himself - Kincaid will play Beasley's role in the offense but with a TE body and much more field stretching ability. Allen thrived when he had Beasley as his safety valve. I think Kincaid will quickly take on that role. I never thought Knox was a natural fit in that role because he just doesn't have a great feel for how to make himself available. Now we can use Knox as a more traditional TE while Kincaid acts as a matchup nightmare in the middle of the field.
  4. Instincts, athleticism, elite hands, fluidity. What am I missing here?
  5. Nope. Knox doesn't have this fluidity:
  6. Why are the most annoying people in the world screaming at me from my TV?
  7. I don't understand how anyone could hate this pick. We just got an elite pass catcher to pair with Diggs. Go get Hopkins and dare teams to keep up with us.
  8. Man I am over the moon right now. Quentin Johnston and Dalton Kincaid were my draft crushes.
  9. We stole their guy.
  10. I can't believe he slid to us!! We just got our Travis Kelce. Wait and see.
  11. LFG!!!!!!
  12. Please don't tip picks or non-picks
  13. Wow 2nd year in a row we gave up our 4th. Jumping Cowboys for who?? Please be Kincaid.
  14. Is Kincaid really going to be there?? Giants and Jags don't need a TE, Cowboys supposedly like Mayer better. I would take Kincaid in a heartbeat. If for no other reason than to make sure Cincy doesn't get him.
  15. Cool, I just couldn't get myself excited about Addison. Maybe I'm wrong, I just don't see any elite traits.
  16. Ah, *****. At this point my current favorite for the Bills is Kincaid if he somehow continues sliding, if not him then Hyatt. But realistically I'm still expecting Jordan Addison based on what I've heard.
  17. This shouldn't be a surprise, but turns out smallish not very explosive slot WRs with nagging hamstring issues don't get picked high in the 1st round. I never understood the top 15 hype with JSN.
  18. Charlie Campbell called this pick to Detroit a few weeks ago.
  19. Nevermind, Belichick made the mistake before we could!
  20. Wow Forbes before Gonzalez. I'm starting to get nervous that he will make it to 27 and Beane won't be able to help himself.
  21. Lmao that is a silly pick. 24 year old rookie. Aaron Rodgers must be wishing he had stayed in that darkness retreat.
  22. Please don't make that kid say Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
