  1. Thanks man. No way anybody could have misinterpreted this thread title.
  2. Talk about a tipping point week for the AFC: Chiefs at Bills Ravens at Steelers Bengals at Chargers
  3. I mean they have given him plenty of surrounding talent. DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, a highly touted rookie WR, Kmet is a decent starting TE. They have a very good defense which takes the pressure off the offense. The OL needs some work for sure but no #1 overall QB is stepping into a perfect situation in their rookie year. Everyone always wants to praise or blame the coaching staff. Personally I think great QBs will become great no matter where they're drafted, and the same in reverse for bad QBs. Darnold was supposedly "ruined" by the Jets but now he is turning back into the player that he always has been even in an elite offensive system with elite talent. Allen didn't become great because Daboll screamed at him on the sidelines, he himself put in the work and methodically eliminated all of his major flaws. That's what Caleb Williams has to do. The concern is that Williams is looking as bad or worse now than he did to start the season. You would have hoped to see some progress at this point, but it's still very early. The Bears did the "make the fans happy" move and fired the OC. Maybe that will help some, but it isn't going to transform Williams into a player worthy of the #1 selection. He has to do that on his own.
  4. It's crazy that the 3-6 Dolphins have a real shot at a wildcard. The AFC is garbage this year.
  5. Ridiculous that the officials would fall for such an obvious flop
  6. There's no amount of creativity that can hide a jailbreak OL. The RT Noteboom is having the worst individual performance I've seen in a long long time.
  7. Wow he nails the 52 yarder, but the Rams false start... Then he misses the 57 yarder... They are fitting a season's worth of gut wrenching mistakes into a single game.
  8. It's shocking how many goofy mistakes the Rams offense has made in this one. This is like a week 1 game.
  9. The Rams OL is as bad as I've ever seen. Holy hell. The offense can't even function at a basic level like this.
  10. Seriously, how are they so utterly shutting down this Dolphins run game? It's made their offense look non functional since the opening drive.
  11. Rams are shutting down the Dolphins run game. That's the key to stopping this offense
  12. Both of these OLs stink
  13. Former Bills DBs continue to make big plays against the Dolphins, while wearing Dolphins jerseys.
  14. Taron alluded to this in his postgame interview. I love how there are these hidden narratives behind so many big plays in the NFL, and I appreciate the rare opportunities we get to learn about them.
  15. We got caught in inside leverage on what turned out to be an outside run. It sucks but it happens. Hamlin got caught flat footed. He was our only chance at stopping this run from going 50+ yards. But hey great work from Rapp on that play leveraging Taylor to slow him down enough so Dorian Williams could catch up. Between this play and the long Breece Hall run in the Jets game, Rapp is reminding us why the position was named SAFETY. And on those two plays our opponents went on to score a combined 3 points. Keep them out of the endzone and anything can happen.
  16. I didn't expect this to happen so early. Wonderful news. I guess we have to see if he's still the same player after a season and a half off the field, but he'll have basically a full month to ramp up for the playoffs.
  17. He had a cap hit of $4.26M with Seattle, I'm not sure how much a team would owe to claim him but I think he will probably pass through waivers even if only half of that is passed on. If he passes through waivers this is an obvious move and we can just leave Spector on IR all year for all I care.
  18. Agreed. The roster if mostly healthy is good enough to win a Super Bowl. As usual it will come down to coaching and injuries.
  19. Yeah this was my least favorite pick of the draft, and that isn't hindsight it was what I said right after draft weekend. Safety is a cerebral position more than a physical one these days, especially in McDermott's defense. A 5th rounder and a 7th rounder together gave us an elite safety tandem. So I never supported drafting a safety that high. You draft players high because of their physical skills and that isn't what we needed at the position. Worse, Beane admitted he tried to trade up for him. Really just a poor evaluation of positional value. I'm not going to call Bishop a bust this early in his career, but if you're going to draft that position that high he needs to be a contributor early on. I don't even know what the path is to get him on the field moving forward because he plays Rapp's position, but we have Rapp under contract through 2026 and he has been playing pretty well overall. Very confusing resource allocation...
  20. Hey now, Peterman did it all in just one half. Stop trying to diminish his historic achievement.
  21. Haha that is insane. He skimmed the post twice.
  22. They blew that forward progress stopped way too early. Every yard counts here
  23. Dare I say this is turning into a Billsy loss for Houston
  24. His shin was down inbounds before rolling out
  25. Detroit is dangerously close to losing on a last second 50 yard FG
