  1. More scheme than talent IMO. Chris Jones is a game wrecker but no one else like that in their front 4. Good LBs, good secondary, but no elite players back there. It's mostly just Spagnuolo with incredible and versatile play calling.
  2. I don't understand it. Two explosive runs and then 4 straight passes. But it isn't just McDaniel. Every coach in the NFL makes the same mistake.
  3. Again, the Dolphins are easily running the ball and then go all passing and their offense stalls out. I have no clue why every single coach out thinks themselves.
  4. Brady's coach would have run it on 3rd and short every single time. I swear Belichick made his entire Hall of Fame career just by never out thinking himself. He let the other coaches make stupid mistakes like that and give the game away.
  5. Another reason I hate these overseas games is how it impacts injured players. Imagine being carted off to a strange hospital in a foreign country. Then eventually having to make an overseas flight with some kind of major injury.
  6. Tua totally missed that possible blitz, he wasn't even looking at it.
  7. Hill is one of the best WRs I've ever seen but he sure is dumb at times.
  8. The problem is they are winning their division by default. So I don't know that a Chiefs loss here helps us at all. Not unless we only plan on losing like 1-2 games over the rest of the season, and I just can't see that happening.
  9. MVS is the 2nd best pass catcher the Chiefs have. Not good enough. Also it appears that Kelce has lost a step. He hasn't totally dropped off a cliff but he clearly isn't the same this year.
  10. I wish I shared your optimism, but the Dolphins have an easier remaining schedule than we do and they have shown they are not going to lose to any bad teams like we already have twice. I'm not even thinking about playoff seeding at this point. None of that matters if we're entering as a wildcard or not at all.
  11. Dude I am so torn right now. I felt a surge of excitement when Mahomes fumbled that ball, then again when Chris Jones committed that dumb penalty, and then I remembered who I'm supposed to be rooting for.
  12. Chiefs for sure, division is always the priority.
  13. Chris Jones stepped in. That was an unacceptable penalty in that moment.
  14. This year he really hasn't been though. He almost singlehandedly lost them the Jets game. He was also the primary reason their offense sucked against the Broncos, turning down open pass catchers and throwing dumb interceptions.
  15. I definitely wouldn't go that far. They are sorely lacking in offensive weapons. Only one difference maker on the DL. It's very hard to win consecutive playoff games with major vulnerabilities like that.
  16. Based on how Skyy Moore has looked this year, I'm inclined to believe that poor throw was the result of an incorrect route. He never looks like he has any idea where he's supposed to be on the field. I'm surprised the Chiefs keep putting him out there.
  17. The Dolphins need to stop running plays that start with the ball thrown behind the LOS. Just call normal plays past the sticks. All of these gimmick plays have turned into disasters for them.
  18. The jet lag excuse was exposed by how we played in our next 2 games after that... The Jags game was just the start of our annual 3-4 game rut that we always fall into under McDermott.
  19. God I am jealous of how well coached this Chiefs defense is. As soon the ball is recovered, you see a LB setting his feet and looking around for someone to block. And the wherewithal of the DB to lateral the ball back to Cook and then Cook to immediately run down the sideline at full speed.
  20. Hill should have it drop to the ground as soon as he realized he was getting tackled behind the LOS.
  21. The difference between the Chiefs offense and Dolphins offense is that if you make the Chiefs work for their entire drive, they've shown they can do it. Might not be pretty but they'll put together a few gritty TD drives every game. The Dolphins live and die on explosive plays. So the question remains, can a 100% finesse offense built entirely on speed over size win games deep into January?
  22. I think what's actually happened is too many officiating crews have called soft defensive holding penalties for years now, so now our eyes are attuned to seeing penalties that aren't there. This game is an example of how it should always be called. Just call the egregious ones. It makes the viewing experience so much better.
