Everybody's favorite penalty, nothing the passer.
-
Dude. You'll never guess who Travis is dating.
-
Their defense is legit. Fast players and unpredictable scheme is a deadly combo. On offense though they just don't have enough difference makers. Kelce appears to have lost a step. Everyone else is a JAG or worse. As a result Mahomes is pressing and not playing his best football.
-
Scouting for next week - The Eagles defense plays very disciplined. They don't come off their guys when the QB starts scrambling. They don't have stupid late hits. They constantly rip at the ball. We have to match their discipline or the game will get away from us.
-
This is nuts. They refuse to let Hurts throw the ball forward. This is a high school offense.
-
The Eagles are serious with that play call?? Do they not realize the kind of defense they are playing against?
-
That's a deceptively difficult play by the safety there to not take Justin Watson's head off and gift the Chiefs a free 1st down. Make him hear footsteps but don't deliver the blow. Honestly very impressive.
-
Remember in 2020 when seemingly the entire Bills offense ran through perfect throws like that on crossing routes? I miss those days.
-
Hurts has to step up in the pocket and throw his corner route there. He was thinking run as soon as the ball was snapped. But that was abysmal 1st and 2nd down play calling.
-
Well this is an uninspiring set of play calls off of the turnover

The PI I agreed with but that was a weak ass illegal contact penalty. This refs have been mostly terrible tonight.

Dalton Kincaid: Beane's best pick since Allen?
HappyDays replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
He originally played basketball. He apparently joined his high school football team because his friends dared him to and the rest is history. Basketball players transitioning to TE is not an uncommon story. -
The best plays BY FAR for both offenses tonight are runs. I'm telling you, run heavy offense is making a comeback. It's the best way to counter modern defenses that go all out to stop the pass.
-
In some ways the Chiefs are the new Patriots. They let other teams make stupid mistakes while they just continue to play the game. In this game it gave them a +3 point advantage. Best coaching staff in the league by far.
-
So much for the vaunted Eagles pass rush. They aren't even breathing on Mahomes.
-
It doesn't matter. He turned around and flashed his hands. It's obviously a pick but they're legal when disguised as routes. Instead of complaining about it, use it to our advantage. Details like that are why we lost to the Pats. Latavius Murrary ran straight into a defender as a clear blocker and took a TD off the board.
-
It's not illegal. The WR made it look like he was stopping on a route. If you make it look like a route it isn't an illegal block.
-
Man that 3rd down conversion he had earlier on the drive was a special special throw, and he gives it all back on one play.
-
What could they possibly even discuss?? The whistle never blew, the play never stopped. That's Eagles ball.
-
Everything on offense looks better when we commit to the run game. OL included. When the guy lined up across from you doesn't know how he's going to attack at the snap, it creates a more favorable matchup. This was Dorsey's biggest failing as an OC, IMO.

I'm sure Brady didn't mean this press conference comment as a shot at Dorsey, but...

Dalton Kincaid: Beane's best pick since Allen?
HappyDays replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
I appreciate that from day one he has been a total pro. I think he must have had a very good upbringing with great parents and coaches because he is always completely engaged on every play from start to finish even if he isn't directly involved. That attitude in my experience is not inherent, it's something drilled into you from a young age. The 3-man block on Shakir's TD is one example that's been pointed out. Another good one is last week against the Broncos on Allen's TD run, when Kincaid saw Allen was starting to run he flashed his hands in a catching position just to hold his defender a tick longer to give Allen more space. He's the definition of a gamer. Crazy thing is he didn't start playing football until late in life, senior year of high school if I recall correctly, so he still has so much room to grow as a player. -
Allen makes history again- this is a big 1

Wait we're doing Kelvin Benjamin trutherism now? Cool. You know what he did after getting kicked off the Bills? Went to the Chiefs. He played in one game, had a perfect Mahomes pass bounce off his chest and hit the ground, and then never played football again. The irony isn't lost on me that now people are lamenting how unfair it is that Mahomes only has ONE Hall of Fame talent to throw the ball to. It's not his fault that he has to produce with the likes of R̶o̶b̶e̶r̶t̶ F̶o̶s̶t̶e̶r̶ Marquez Valdes-Scantling, A̶n̶d̶r̶e̶ H̶o̶l̶m̶e̶s̶ Justin Watson, Z̶a̶y̶ J̶o̶n̶e̶s̶ Kadarius Toney, and K̶e̶l̶v̶i̶n̶ B̶e̶n̶j̶a̶m̶i̶n̶ Skyy Moore. And his OL isn't definitively a top 2 OL in football anymore. It's a meager top 5-ish now. How does he ever manage to move the ball forward? Seriously though if you ever need a good laugh, look up the 2018 Bills starting pass catchers and OL. It was so bad that the entire fanbase fell in love with a CFL star in 2019 because by comparison he represented a huge improvement. It's seriously unbelievable that Josh Allen took any positive steps forward in his development with those first two years of BS around him. I'm not sure any QB in history would have broken this record with that awful starting point to their career. -

It wasn't. That was Dorsey's scheme just called differently. Obviously I understand wanting to see more before believing Brady is the solution, but I don't think defenses are going to be able to key in on anything new. When your play caller calls a balanced offense there's not much to key in on. So more than anything I just want to see Brady do it again.
