  1. I know he needs to be aggressive for us to have any chance. Our skill players are not going to make big plays happen all their own. Just in games against bad offenses he can afford to play more reserved, that's all. Still I recognize he was the only reason we scored points today and had to overcome a lot of bad play from the talent around him.
  2. It's just annoying because of how unnecessary it was. Allen has definitely crossed the line of reckless versus aggressive too many times this year. This is the kind of game where the last thing you want is to gift Easton Stick any kind of momentum... I don't mind the INT he had against the Eagles for example, it's a shootout against a Super Bowl caliber opponent and he had over 50 pass attempts. Having a dumb INT on 20 pass attempts against a bad opponent is just poor awareness of the game situation. There was just no need for a cross the body deep throw in this game against this opponent. But then he totally redeemed himself by making several ridiculous throws on his clutch final drive to seal the game.
  3. Also worth noting that this is now three consecutive games with poor pass protection... It's forgotten in the Cowboys game because one drive was extended by a questionable RTP and another by an amazing one handed catch from Diggs, but Allen was moved off his spot a lot in that one too. The run game was just so good it didn't matter. A lack of great skill players combined with poor pass protection, it's no wonder our passing offense has been maddeningly boom or bust the past few weeks. Nobody should use the interim head coach excuse or say we got caught in a trap game, this has been an ongoing trend.
  4. 1 of 1 QB play. There's no hot read open, the play is dead on arrival. But he just makes a ridiculous throw to single handedly keep the drive going.
  5. Oliver - Best player on the field for both teams Allen - Too messy tonight, but that final TD drive was as clutch as he's ever been Davis - If Davis gets 1 reception, he gets 100 yards and a TD, he is all or nothing Johnson - He just keeps making plays in coverage while being asked to do everything and is probably the most underrated player on the team
  6. Man I am not confident at all right now. I hate that we've turned this game into a knife fight. The entire season comes down to a defensive stand...
  7. Wow! Josh came up clutch on that drive.
  8. Again Allen and Diggs not on the same page downfield
  9. The team didn't come ready to play. Again. It's a non stop problem under this regime and it is close to sinking our season right now.
  10. Get rid of everyone in the offseason if we lose this one. I don't want to hear excuses about player execution. If we lose this game, the people in charge aren't good enough.
  11. This team makes no sense lol
  12. We don't have any WRs separating downfield?? Allen is just patting the ball. What the hell is going on.
  13. Why do we always let bad teams drag us into games like this?
  14. Our free agency spending this year was awful. Other than Floyd and McGovern every single signing has been a bust.
  15. I am still just so confused on why the passing offense to Diggs and Davis has looked so out of sync lately.
  16. Need to run the offense through Cook on this drive. He is by far our best skill player right now.
  17. Chargers are down to their 3rd center and we can't get pressure up the middle. Typical.
  18. The Chargers 3rd WR is separating more easily than our #1 and #2.
  19. It definitely is. We don't have enough pass catchers.
  20. Commit to the run Joe... Everybody has run against the Chargers defense for years now.
  21. WR separation is still a major issue
  22. It isn't that unlikely. Bengals need to drop one more. Texans or Colts or Jaguars need to drop two more. Broncos need to drop one more. Steelers need to drop one more. That's our path to getting in at 10-7. If the Falcons and Browns both win this weekend (over the Colts and Texans respectively), we just need Broncos, Steelers, and Bengals to drop one more each and we get in at 10-7 no matter what.
  23. No at this point we control our own destiny. Colts and Texans still play each other. One of them will end up at 7 losses. The only other wildcard team that has a path to 11-6 is the Browns. There's three wildcard teams... If we finish 11-6 we are now assured to be one of them.
  24. No Daquan Jones either since he wasn't officially activated to the roster.
  25. I won't lie, I was still a tad nervous despite knowing it was extremely improbable to win out and miss the playoffs. I was going to be restless until it was a sure thing... Now we know. The Bills control their own destiny.
