  1. That has nothing to do with Kirk getting hit as he throws. That is just an awful decision and a weak throw.
  2. Another pass that Mahomes is off on. Rough start to the season by his standards. Not that it will ultimately matter, I've learned my lesson, but it's notable.
  3. If that's your strict definition of #1 WR then that explains this entire conversation.
  4. He's pacing for 1,479 yards over his last 8 games... That's not a hot start, that's a trend. He meets all the qualities of a true #1. He's clearly his team's go-to WR, he gets a lot of targets, he's pacing for top tier production, and he can win from all spots in the formation and at every level of the field. I don't really know what the opposing argument is here.
  5. Andy Reid is notorious for having his WRs under produce if anything. Once had an entire season with the Chiefs where the WRs scored 0 TDs. Tyreek Hill became even more productive when he went to Miami. I don't know why Bills fans want to downplay Rashee Rice's abilities. The guy is a scumbag and also an extremely talented WR that would be a #1 caliber guy anywhere he went.
  6. Which Andy Reid receiver was getting 1,500 yards without being a true #1? Or even over 1,000 for that matter. I mean we can all agree 1,000 yards in a season is the bare minimum expectation for a true #1 WR.
  7. I will never understand how the Chiefs regularly get pass catchers that are literally alone on the screen when the ball gets to them. Especially their TEs. Stop me if you've heard this one before - it's very impressive and very annoying.
  8. Their offense runs through the IOL. It's very impressive and very annoying.
  9. I don't know how many WRs I'd classify as true #1s. It is definitely more than 10. A WR pacing for 1,500 yards is pretty clearly a true #1, it's not debatable. Targets are earned, not handed out. Rice earns his targets. He's a volume pass catcher. Because he's a true #1.
  10. Man it feels like London could have easily gotten to that one. Plenty of air under it, he just lost the trajectory of the ball.
  11. I didn't call him a top 10 guy but there is definitely a big difference between him and Shakir, namely that Rice can actually play outside. He's pacing for almost 1,500 yards in a season since he broke out last year, whereas Shakir is pacing for like 900 yards. They're in different stratospheres.
  12. Really annoying that the Chiefs found a true #1 WR in the draft one year after trading Hill.
  13. Why are you overloading Mahomes from one side and leaving the entire other side of the field wide open for him to roll out? I swear some of these DCs don't actually watch him play when they draw up their gameplans.
  14. Chiefs run game definitely doesn't pop as much with Pacheco out of the game
  15. Mahomes is kind of playing like ass so far this year
  16. The little sisters of the poor could run the ball against the Cowboys
  17. Lmao the Cowboys defense has stopped trying. I don't know if Mike McMcarthy makes it past week 8 at this point.
  18. Zach Wilson 2028 truthers stand up
  19. Ravens vs Cowboys is a massive coaching discrepancy, as wide as it gets.
  20. Doesn't matter until they get rid of Mike McCarthy. This is a placeholder year for them.
  21. Dallas is soft like their head coach
  22. Man #1 gotta get up outta there
  23. Yeah he is now a very good possession slot WR. Valuable role but that's all he is.
  24. He's basically playing slot WR for them. At this point in his career it's his best role for sure, but it's tough for a passing offense to live exclusively through the slot. No coincidence on that last drive they hit a big pass to Collins outside and finally got a TD.
  25. It's hard to see the secondary on broadcast footage but I would assume they're shading extra coverage in his direction. No other WR on the Texans is worth extra attention so you just have to stop Collins from taking over the game to stymie their passing offense. Not gonna beat a lot of coverage anyways when the OL is getting its lunch money taken on every other snap. Their run game has been non existent too so they are behind the sticks a lot.
