Wow that is an awful pick for Detroit. They took the worse version of Alim McNeil. All these non-premium position picks year after year are going to catch up to them.
-
I'm at 8. Nailed #20-#23.
-
Baltimore's safety tandem is scary
-
Atlanta gave up next year's 1st for Pearce?? Dumb teams keep doing dumb things.
-
Hahahaha Sal Paolantonio doing the inevitable "Daboll just drafted his Josh Allen" shtick. These analysts just don't learn.
-
I would pay a lot of money to get a Shadeur Sanders camera right now
-
We'll have our pick of whatever CB we want. Perfect. Please don't screw it up by taking Emmanwori.
-
I guess it's an unpopular opinion but I like how this draft is shaping up so far. Still most of the top CBs on the board, plus Golden is still there. And someone will take Jihaad Campbell so that's one more player we don't need that will come off the board.
-
With Egbuka we're getting into a group of players where if this specific team didn't take them they might have gone 20 picks later. Such a weird class.
-
I could see it. I've been saying for a while if he's there I don't see us passing on him. He is a clean character and scheme fit. I just don't see safety as a need or a premium position so I'd be a bit underwhelmed.
-
I'm happy some other team is doing the Shemar Stewart experiment. Even happier that it means Cody Ford might be blocking for Joe Burrow this year.
-
They spent all that money on an average injury prone QB, which forced them to let their best defensive player walk in FA, which now forces them to draft the lesser version of him in the 1st round. Amazing. This must be exactly how Pats fans felt all those years.
-
Nah. Kenneth Grant won't be on the field when Allen is racing for a backbreaking 3rd down conversion to once again seal the division title. In week 8.
-
Oh I am so happy about this. All three AFCE teams took non-premium positions, no game changers coming into the division.
-
Doesn't really matter until they have a QB. This trade set them up to get one next year. So automatically it is a good trade just for that reason.
-
Cleveland fans are ecstatic. They got a likely top 10 1st round pick next year and a high 2nd this year, and still got a very good prospect in Graham. This move might be what ultimately gets them past the awful Watson years.
-
That's the first pick that is at least 10 picks higher than expected. We're getting into wildcard territory here.
-
They just took Legette last year who's supposed to be the same type of WR as McMillan, and their defense was unplayable. This is just a dumb pick IMO.
-
Dave Canales spends all offseason talking about how they need defense. So of course they draft a WR. Smokescreen or just a dumb franchise doing dumb things?
-
They would have traded down from #1 for a massive haul and still gotten one of those two. Chucking a bunch of random deep balls to Keon Coleman for four straight quarters was a brilliant strategy.
-
They should just punt on QBs this year and tank.
-
That is a great trade for Cleveland. They need a QB next year and now are set up perfectly to get one. Don't really understand it for Jacksonville. Feels like a young GM swinging too much. They'll have a top 10 pick next year IMO and will regret not having it.

I'll be tipping picks in the live draft thread

" Minnesota, Carolina, New Orleans, Washington talking trade back, Tennessee trade up back into R1 for a WR, Buffalo a team to watch (specifically if Jahdae Barron slips)" I'd be surprised if we actually trade up for Barron, he doesn't fit our usual CB prototype. But maybe he fits whatever new schematic wrinkles they want to implement.
