This is true, and in my opinion the reason Alexander had such a big year. Rex's scheme is about the d-line and some LB's basically "falling on the grenade" so the stats funnel into the late rusher/blitzer. Most of the time, the best players barely show up on the stat sheet, with a couple of guys on cleanup duty to collect the tackles (and a surprise pro bowl nod)... And misdirection, but that works less and less each time offenses see it.

Right. I don't know most of these people in any other context. If they don't make it over here it's like they were lost at sea. Could have given us a chance to coordinate a move... ...but then again maybe it cuts down on the trolls finding us, maybe not. But either way it would be nice to get some acknowledgement, at least after the fact as opposed to just disappearing *poof* life a ghost in the night.

Alright... With all the entries so far (and the expansion) we now have 20 slots remaining. Awesome. I feel like the floor just dropped out from under the Bills party.... and I landed somehow in a better party, with better beer, better food, and hotter chicks; and many of the crazies were lost in the move.

Well I guess I would consider it if we got Cutler... ...that's not to say that I actually want Cutler, I don't; but that would make me ok with Marshall. That's when Cutler was actually good. It was like Kurt Warner/Fitz/Boldin, Marshall could have all 11 defenders covering him and Cutler would still throw to him... and complete it.

Yeah now I wish I would have saved some stuff before the shut-down. It was in such a downward spiral I guess it was inevitable but I just didn't see it, being to close to it I presume. You know how many times I tried to load that sucker Wednesday before I came to the conclusion of a shutdown? I don't know how many but an entirely unhealthy number, that I can assure. Been checking that page just about daily for better than a decade.

Same here. That's why it sucked. I don't do any social media and just basically check the Bills forum and bladeforums. Randomly checked here to see if somebody was confirming the shutdown, and this thread was in another (probably the proper) part of this forum. Then I saw all the old names drop in. Unexpected but not unwelcome for sure. And the funny part is this seems like a legitimate upgrade...

Heck yeah man. It's great to see all the guys that made it over. SDS said in his orient thread they approved over 100 refugees in 24 hours. And that was as of hours ago. Pretty awesome. Here are the rules - I will keep this open for 2 weeks from tomorrow, ending March 17 at EOD. - I have 2 big dogs, and a nice square yard that they poop in. I will be marking out a grid of 50 (10x5) in my yard labelled BILLS numbered B 1-10, I 11-20, L 21-30, L 31-40, S 41-50 just like Bingo. Each entry will get a random assigned number correlating to a square. Then, on the morning of the 18th, when I bring the dogs out, you guessed it The first square to get pooped in wins the Giveaway. Simple as that. - After "The poop has spoken" I will PM the winner for his/her shipping info. Once info is recieved I will ship out at no cost to you. No BS. - ANYONE is eligible for this giveaway, but if I don't get to 50 entries, TBD veterans will get double entries (in order of entry until we reach 50) - All you have to do to enter the Giveaway is to post "I'm In", and you are in. Yes. And I can't speak for others, but that board was at a point where I wanted to leave it but the people you get to know on there is why you can't stop. Now some of those people are here. Kind of a "methadone" to our BBMB addiction ending so abruptly.

Great news. One of the better "two-punch" change of pace guys in the league. Hopefully they can lock him down, cuz who knows how healthy Shady can stay this/next year.

Do the gameday threads get crazy? I think every weekend there was a 100-200 page gameday thread that was absolutely insane. Or does the shout box kind of take over that "can't-help-but-post-every-inane-thought" during the game function?

Is there any other way to Thunderdome? I'm not aware of any.
