  1. They are talking about this year... ...so I doubt anyone will be finding a QB of the future. Despite some (loud) peoples opinions, this draft class is pure garbage and should be avoided like the plague. You don't overdraft and reach for crap QB (just like EJ), when there are real players left. When the draftniks all say there are no QBs this year worth a 1st round grade that is all I have to hear. Pass. That does not go for later round guys, if they do want to draft a QB you gotta wait and pickup the scraps. I can't even imagine them "pulling an EJ" again this year knowing the odds are against you. I know we haven't had a QB for awhile, but we can't let instant gratification frick us over again at QB.
  2. I really think Lawson and Ragland will shine. If we get decent DB play, I think the defense will get alot better overall as well.
  3. I heard about these changes a while ago, but this is the first "official" recognition of this. Funny how they put it like they care about the "fan experience", more like ratings plummeted and attendance has been on a steady decline. Let's call it what it is: damage control. And no I didn't receive this email.... but I don't make a habit out of sharing my email address either.
  4. Best solution I have heard to date. I have said it before... the NFL has forgotten that the fans pay for everything. They continue to make the games less fun to be a fan of and it will turn around and bite them. 30 years ago nobody thought baseball was going anywhere, despite a pathetic fan experience. Now it has lost popularity at a staggering rate for decades mostly giving way to the NFL. With the other of the top 5 sports (NHL, NASCAR, and NCAA football) all constantly upping their game and making their product more competitive, more fun, and better for fans; If the NFL continues down these types of paths, one of these next 3 sports could possibly come to the forefront. Maybe Mark Cuban was right. It just may take longer than he thought.
  5. The biggest trick the Kaep ever pulled was convincing the world there was more to him than just a knee. He's not on a roster for the same reason I'm not on a roster: he's not good enough. Ditto with RG3 but this is not news.
  6. Hey, I hate the teams with the major-ority of titles, ipso fatso I don't like neither of them teams, either. Now, get me a beer... ...and I don't wanna hear nothing more out of you, meathead.
  7. Well I do like the "news" (still don't like to use that loosely) that Zach fired his agent because of us. Makes me think maybe he wants to use Miami as leverage here, rather than using us as leverage to sign in Miami.
  8. Never heard of these bf insiders... Wonder how credible it is. But I want Zach bach and hope they are right.
  9. Obvious hate: Cheaters Jests Phins Cowgirls Steelers Animosity for: Packers Colts Anyone else who dumb-luck stumbles into back to back HOF QBs.... Love the Bills, and every year there are a few teams I would not say I like, but enjoy to watch that year. Last year it was Falcons and Raiders. And then the teams I feel a kindred spirit with: Chiefs Raiders Browns Because of the fanbases
  10. Well it seems Rex has finally found something he can excell at... ..besides cheeseburgers.
  11. For real. I really like Woods, but obviously if you get a good/great player in FA, he is massively overpaid. That is the way of the world these days. Rather have a top prospect for pennies on the dollar. It is getting to the point where you can only keep players (past rookie contract) if they are merely "role players", give a hometown discount, or are truly elite and get paid. Everyone else hits FA for a payday, and goes to the highest bidder. Further proof that it's coaching and QB that really matter these days, as even elite teams turn over their rosters besides HC and QB.
  12. Just let him whine about QB. If you feed it, this will turn into a "T-word" thread.... I'm not broken up about Shead... because obviously we will get DBs somewhere, most likely the extremely deep rookie class. We have Darby and Seymour that are decent young guys, and I wouldn't mind a couple top DB prospects to rotate with these guys. It's not like we are going to the SB this year....
  13. OP: An indictment on TT... What? Cannot believe the "fanbase" on here has really gotten that rediculous. Hogan leaves and everyone throws a fit as he has nearly an identical year with Brady as he did with Taylor. Now we "lose" a guy that only had 10 catches last year despite a decimation at the position, and the sky is falling again... Must be a really rough life when tiny crap like this sends folks into a tizzy. Geez
  14. I thought you were going to say something crazy like Cutler or Jamaal Charles... ...but, yeah... ... I'm hoping for Brown back to. Seems to me like he fits the defense better than anyone else on the roster. We clearly need LB. I wonder if BUF doesn't want him back or if it's a $ thing.
  15. Trade up for a QB with a second round grade? Seems alot like reaching for EJ. We need to be smart at draft time. Can't fall in love with project QBs with real good players are left on the board. If you want a QB, you wait until round 2 and see who's left. None of these guys are a cut above the rest, so don't throw value out the window, along with a much safer elite prosect.
  16. That was quick. Maybe he made the switch last year and that's why he refused to tackle for the first 8 weeks.
  17. Thanks Greg!
  18. No doubt. What Whaley lacks in 1st round picks, he makes up for with FA steals and player trades. Good points. I fully expect to see a WR early in the draft, and probably another in the later rounds. I don't think many teams are happy with every position right now. And let not forget this draft is deep at both of our biggest needs (DB/WR).
  19. Ok Wr4 or WR5. As long as we didnt overpay, it's whatever. He's probably on par with Powell and Hunter.
  20. Well Rex would put up with players like Martavis, whereas I believe McCoach would believe he can fix these guys. Same idea bringing a maligned highly skilled player to the team, but a different approach. Personally I realize Bryant is a great talent and would love to have a player with his skills, but I question his ability to grow the heck up.
  21. Word for word he posted that same crap over at bbmb... Just looking for a reaction. Got me the first time. Not biting this time around. Trolls gotta troll.
  22. I see what you are doing here, Howard. Still keeping it alive 4 pages in. I find your brand of satire quite amusing. But nobody can knock you for not sticking to it. Just for the sake of the thread.... No, Brandon does not deserve any credit for anything positive done here. Any relative success was made despite him, not because of him. What he should do is write a book. There are tons of people out there who would greatly appreciate learning how to make a great, legal living on lies, deception, misdirection, brown-nosing, and incompetence (and he doesn't even work in government). He has wisdom to share with the useless (m)asses.
  23. That's not how it works, WIDE LEFT.... you see with those particular media types like Sully, you only bring up the stuff you got right. Don't attempt to insert logic, reason, or track record into this. Sully was right, because Patriots. When he said they would never give Gilly a big contract, he was right. But in the time since, master god Bellicheck has altered the rules of the universe, and now it is the right decision. Come on, WIDE LEFT, keep up.
  24. My thoughts exactly. Gonna take awhile but it's a legitimate fresh start.
  25. I never wanted to play pro sports... ...now I think maybe I should have considered it.
