  1. Blasphemer! Blasphemer! Best Boyst post I have seen by a country mile. "And to anyone who questions my credentials, 'Hi, I'm Hank', and I'm from the old school" I wouldn't trade Hank's pinky finger for a billion Kaeps. So I guess that kinda makes your point. 'Merica
  2. The love for the Pats around here is disgusting. Never seen such admiration for an androgynous, cheater, enemy of the state. When will people realize, everything Boston is wrong. More sickening is that BILLS FANS can't seem to separate themselves from his jock, or stop talking about him longingly. Just jump on their bandwagon, it is very used to people hopping on and off.
  3. The fans. Many NFL players (and the world at large) are desperate for validation. We have rabid fans that will support the players and show them love even when they suck. We waited at the airport and gave a key to the city to an aging locker-room cancer that the game had passed by. It's ego, and the fans go a long way to make these players feel like they are somehow better or special. Nowhere else would Trent freakin Edwards get years to start, and fans to fluff him up. Obviously that is not everyone, as I think there is real validity to the notion that as you grow up, you want a place like Buffalo. Most people don't party all the time, or need to be entertained so much as the young guys. You know when somebody says "theres nothing to do in Buffalo", that they just don't get it. I agree with Hank "Send me to hell or NY city, they're just about the same to me". But to each his own, and now to quote Chan "That's why Baskin Robbins has 31 different flavors"
  4. I have seen that sucker more times than I care to recount. It's been years since I have now, but I'm pretty sure I cried the first time and you hear the announcer at the end "And the Bills win the Super Bowl".... ... That may be the only time I ever hear that, so I guess every fan should watch it for that reason alone. I'm hoping by the time I get real old I remember it like it actually happened, and I can tell the grandkids about the time the Bills got sick and the second string players won the Super Bowl. Of course they will google it and know.... But I will have my moment.
  5. Lol... At you, not your post. You must be a blast at parties. 7th overall vs. 37th overall. I would hope MW is "twice the player" as Zay to have 30 picks between them at the top of the draft. But there I go, making sense, I know thats not a strong suit for some.
  6. Cool, LABillzFan... I'll enter. Not sure if there are any homeless shelters around here, plenty of dog shelters though. But you know it is you're contest, you can cry if you want to. Very magnanimous of you, I have done plenty of giveaways (1) here, the old BBMB, and one other forum, but that is big money you are (probably) going to drop. So Thank you, the charities will be very grateful I am sure. Would be cool to have the winners pick a charity to play for, but this ain't my contest, is it. Just a thought. Anyhow, here goes, don't get mad because I ruined the season for you guys by predicting it! Sunday, Sept 10 - Bills vs. Jets W Sunday, Sept 17 - Bills @ Panthers W Sunday, Sept. 24 - Bills vs. Broncos L Sunday, Oct 1 - Bills @ Falcons L Sunday, Oct 8 - Bills @ Bengals W Sunday, Oct 22 - Bills vs. Buccaneers L Sunday, Oct 29 - Bills vs. Raiders W Thursday, Nov 2 - Bills @ Jets L Sunday, Nov 12 - Bills vs. Saints L Sunday, Nov 19 - Bills @ Chargers W Sunday, Nov 26 - Bills @ Chefs W Sunday, Dec 3 - Bills vs. Patriots* L Sunday, Dec 10 - Bills vs. Colts L Sunday, Dec 17 - Bills vs Fish L Sunday, Dec 24 - Bills @ Patriots* W Sunday, Dec 31 - Bills @ Fish W Yup, 8-8.... Thanks again LA
  7. Would not surprise me if he is just trying to skip some practice. Fitzy has done it a couple of times too and admitted it to the media, as have some other Bills players that I don't exactly remember who. Some vets, especially when signing with the same team or at a position that doesn't need as much practice (RB, FB, DL, etc) don't want to spend their whole summer practicing. Now Barnage gets to pick where he goes, skip some early practice, and maybe even draw out some more interest or a higher offer if a team really wants him or loses their TE. Basically he holds all the cards, and is playing his hand.
  8. 4th post and it's a gem I have a hard time believing that living the life of a pro football player leads to homicide. OJ, Hernandez, Vick, etc.... They are/were sick people regardless of football. Only difference is we may not have known who any of them were had it not been for the NFL. That's it. They are killers who just happen to have also played in the NFL.
  9. So much anger. My point has not much to do with Tyrod. It's about taking one of the later guys (late round 1, 2nd, or 3rd) And lets be honest, getting blown out in the playoffs would be a massive upgrade for us.
  10. I agree to a degree. There have not been elite prospect lately, but go back just a bit. We heard about Stafford, Bradford, and Luck for years before they came out. The real problem may be college not preparing QBs for the NFL by using talent exploitive offenses, as opposed to a legitimate under-center, presnap read, timing offense. So maybe yeah now you guys are right, all QBs from now on are a crap chute, so just take a chance on one. That does not mean overdrafting. When everyone sucks, just wait and take who's left. Never would I advocate for a Trubisky-like trade up. I do disagree about next year. Because all the QB prospects suck, they are not universally loved. Clearly we didn't think Mahomes was worth drafting, KC was in love. Because of such a disparity in grade opinions, I don't see any obstacles in the way of a trade if we really want to.
  11. Tony Gonzalez with KC Future HOFer anyway
  12. Haha... Right? Every year people act like it's stupid to believe Russ was involved in anything. And then it becomes apparent that he was, as always. And I'm delusional because I would rather his stench be removed. I realize now though, as with Ralph; he wiggled himself up the owners butt despite decades of failure. So I must learn to live with it.
  13. The bbmb did suck.... ... But I miss it too. Not sure what it is, or why really. Like a first day in a new house it doesn't feel like home. But it's been months. All the news is here. Other Bills fans are here. Many familiar IDs/avatars are here... But, years and years of posting and here we are, "newbies", and clearly not wanted/welcome, but I need my Bills fix. Trust me, TBD, we would go home if it wasn't burned down in the middle of the night. But for now, you are stuck with us. And us, you... Because we need to talk Bills, and obviously we can't help it.
  14. Pots just never seem to cease calling kettles black. Blame bbmb.... Sure the increase in stupid threads has increased, repetitive threads, adgenda driven convos etc, but the people contributing the most negatively are tenured TBDers from what I have seen. But yeah, YOLO, you are the premier news-breaker around here and I only open long threads when I see you as the last poster, thinking there must be some updated news. Thanks bro.
  15. Good point. Also, as opposed to "every year", this is the most sweeping change in 2 decades or more. Moreover, the hires are smart, hard working, detail oriented, and articulate.... And actually, really on the same page. OneBuffalo, if you will. We have not had that combo in a long long time, and it's the best road to continued success. Anyone can catch lightning in a bottle for a year or two, but it takes control freak, multitasking, and attention to detail to sustain it. If only Rex could focus on the details he would have been much better, but clock management and penalties were details he couldn't seem to master.
  16. I choose option "C" Wondering why this thread is even here. NBA and a non Bills NFL corruption ring have little if any to do with us.
  17. Clearly coming from pensacola they are just trying to make themselves feel better. They have no fans down there. They don't really know about "sports cities", but we don't win games and it's "cold" up here so they put us near the top. Anyhow... Who cares? Man, you have put forth some good posts. This is not one of them, "so he can keep them as bottom feeders" lol, not even the most disillusioned fan believes that.
  18. Holy crap Jeff.... I 100% agree with your post. What I read is, as later as last year, Russ was drawing up contracts and giving our GM an extension even though Terry/Kim had reservation. If this purge is a "witch hunt", Russ is the only real witch to find.
  19. I find it comical that you post over the top, rediculous posts on a near daily basis.... ... And then act like everyone else is crazy. But you got your attention, didn't you. And that really is the point of this thread.
  20. 29?! I never cease to be surprised. Fans aren't part of the inner circle, and are not in the CBA.... The NFL is a supplier of entertainment, we are the consumer, that's capitalism sir. Fair trade, nobody wins. Would be nice to be able to get the inner workings, but they don't actually owe us anything, and any sentiment to the contrary is just jive. To put it clearly: Contrary to popular belief, nobody owes you anything. If you have to know the inner workings of an NFL franchise I submit you work for one, or start one of your own.
  21. So I know this is Bills forum, but he is reportedly in charge of Sabres new GM hire. I don't expect him to be any better at hockey management than he was NFL. And I also know most likely he has nothing to do with football ops, but we DONT know that for sure. He has failed in every aspect of his job that we can fairly assess (gm, hiring gms, hiring hcs, etc), so I don't quite get why he has always had such a huge army of MB members to rush to his defense, as I view most of what he has done as indefensible. He is a top exec in a failing organization, and that right there is enough to get you fired even if you are just the office pencil sharpener and copy maker.
  22. Reminds me of Ritchie actually. Obviously much larger and against lowly competition, but hey no wonder why they brought him in.
  23. I think it matters because it's real reporting with *apparently* real sources. It is, in a word, journalism. Something that does not happen much anymore as most just hot take and retweet with their adgenda. One of the last of a dying breed, as the world evolves into propoganda and lies. You can't trust the media these days, so if there is someone I can believe, it's a big deal in my opinion.
  24. I think it's "people in glass houses... sssink ships" Or maybe I'm wrong. https://youtu.be/o5WnXHA1-s8
  25. Thanks for the heads up. Bump... It's an hour away.
