  1. Idiot here. There's no buzz about the postseason because we have less than a 5:1 chance to get in, and it's hard to believe we will get in. We have watched every game this year, and while it would be awesome to get in, this is not a great team. I think you know that. There's talk about a new QB because Tyrod is bad. Whether you care to admit Taylor's faults or not, it is a fact he is always near the bottom in every meaningful stat besides turnovers. It's telling that you did not provide support for your opinion, just name calling, something done as an emotional response rather than a logical argument. All this talk about how bad we are as fans, but that argument is more idiotic than criticizing Taylor. We are still diehard fans, going to games, watching games, continuously discussing them here, and buying their gear, for a team last in the playoffs in the 90's. You don't get to question fanhood of Bills fans. I love how there are still folks around here with delusions of superiority over former BBMBers. "Mouth breathing table jumpers"... lol how's the weather up there on your paper pedestal?
  2. Another example of how a fan did something arguably stupid or disrespectful, but the pro made himself look worse. The whole schtick about dreaming we were him and could never do what he does, etc, etc... Just another POS elitist pro who actually thinks playing football makes him better than everyone else. Part of me hates him, and part of me feels bad for him, but clearly he needs to feel important and cannot handle criticism. It's always the "toughest" that have the thinnest skin. And for the record, Tolbert is a steaming pile, and it's pritnear highway robbery that he gets a check from the NFL. I couldn't care less about our image, do you? Class? I guess we have very different priorities. I can't imagine how stressful it must be to try to live up to some arbitrary "class" structure, to try to impress people who are just desperately trying to impress you as well. Yuck. Honestly, if people cannot handle justified criticism, perhaps they should stay off the disgusting cesspool known as social media. Maybe Tolbert should "grow up" and stop letting some random person online get his panties all in a bunch.
  3. Tons of money in the balance. Hundreds of jobs at stake. An organization that is not solely owned, it is 32 businesses governed by a board of directors (owners), where the league is undrrmining several members of it's constituency. That's corruption. If it was a sinhle company, like WWE, sacrificing some of it's assets to satisfy the viewership for rating, then sure your point would be legit. This is the league office and 1 or more of it's constituents in cahoots to undermine (and take millions of dollars from) another member.
  4. This sums it up nicely. When it comes to the Pats, the NFL and the media has done everything to suggest "nothing to see here" or this is a "non-story", but we are talking about one group of cronies getting caught with their hand in the cookie jar more than 3 times. It doesn't take a football junkie to watch these plays and see the double standard and obvious bias by refs. Nobody really believes that there is fairness in officiating, though that's what they claim "well, calls go both ways"... but they don't. All the calls with real impact go to the pats, then after the game is essentially won they throw a few nothing calls against them so the box score deceives you into thinking it's fair. Clever. Corrupt.
  5. Articulated perfectly. I keep kind of hyping myself up, but it feels like a mirage. I just can't conceive it happening, and will be truly stunned if it does.
  6. I agree with this. That game was a barometer for me, coming off a big start into primetime against an inferior opponent. Any team should win that one if they are for real, but we couldn't do it. Turning point of the season IMO (but it could still shift to this Sunday if everything goes our way)
  7. If that happened/happens... I will be there. I was 13 the last time we made the playoffs, and I'll be damned if I miss a home playoff game.
  8. "could be forced to release"? Seems about as likely as meeting a unicorn minotaur, and him asking you for a light.
  9. I did want Kupp... And Zay has had stone hands in the NFL. But I'm hoping it's just rookie jitters or something...
  10. All I can say is YUCK to this take. Playoffs are everything. Who gives two rat turds what Tyrods trade value is if we make the tourney? If you don't want Bills in the playoffs, what's the point of being a fan?
  11. Is it bashing to point out real inabilities? The word "bashing" makes it seem like it's unwarranted. It's not. WithvTyrod, you need everything else to go perfectly or you can't win. That's why the game was over after the refs cheated for Pats... because we need to roll, have momentum, get turnovers, and stay ahead to win with Taylor. Yesterdays game needed to ebe a shootout, and we aren't capabble of that. As Romo said, this is not a team that wins 35-30, they win by 3 when they hold another team under 20 points... sometimes.
  12. They will give a **** about the outrage when people in Boston are outraged. Until and unless that happens, business as usual will continue.
  13. If we win... I think we need TEN and LAC to lose (we get 6th seed on record alone) Or BAL loses and either TEN or LAC loses (BAL, BUF and either TEN or LAC tie with same record, Bills hold tiebreaker in 3way) Not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure.
  14. I appreciate your point of view, but it simply is not the case. We def need a pass rusher, but nothing even comes close to how bad we need a qb. Not turning the ball over is not enough in 2017. It is that simple. Get QB.... Then you can debate cracker jacks, stadium seating, LBs or whatever else you see fit.... But it ALL starts with competent QB play, and we only get that on about 10 plays per game right now.
  15. If KBs TD was called incomplete by the refs, then ok I would get not overturning it. I still think it was a catch, but I would get it. What I don't get is how you overturn it, regardless of what the call was. There was no clear evidence to overturn or confirm anything. Only way it gets overturned is bias and cheating. We need to put an end to it, accept any penalties, fines, and ejections, and really lay the wood out and hurt several pats. They do it to us and get ref help, and all we need is to instill real fear. We aren't going to win as it is, so it is time to play dirty. I absolutely cannot believe we didn't target Gronk on every play. He barely got touched all game.
  16. I just started watching Kurt Russell's The Thing It's the second horror film I've seen today.
  17. Sad but true. I'm not surprised, but exasperated about tje situation. The pats are already the best team, plus they cheat, plus the refs try to fix the game. How are you supposed to overcome that?
  18. Well, they don't want to win anymore. Taylor can't figure out how to throw it away, amd then Tolbert on 2nd amd 25.... Tolbert on this roster is self sabotage, let alone giving that steaming pile touches.
  19. Despite his passing. Exactly as I said. If he were a good passer everything would be unicorns and rainbows, since passing is the one thing he does not do well.
  20. Racist? My god. Tyrod is not a great passer. Not good actually. That is a fact. Above posts have outlined his massively underwhelming passing numbers. The top 10 scoring offense you speak of was despite his passing, not because of it. You know just as well as everyone that the 10th ranked offense was because of his legs and Shady. Tyrod's saving grace is that he doesn't turn the ball over, and obviously thats why his qbr was high. To ascribe racism to this is rediculous. Let me use your example... Name white QBs who were bad passers but were elite physical specimens with any type of athleticism that even comes close to Tyrods explosiveness or elusiveness. There are none. Tyrod has an elite physical skillset, just not the "It factor" as a QB. You excluded Tebow, but why? Everyone said he should be a TE or LB. I am not neccesarily arguing for it, but I bet Tyrod would make more impact as a WR on a team with competent QB play.
  21. Not to take anything away from your experience, but this isn't 1984 (figuratively maybe, but I digress). Medical tech and ability are so much farther along, especially for professional athletes.
